Its kinda scary how little most people care about stuff that is actually important. This really shows how stuff like the rise of the Nazi party can happen. Most people don't care about stuff thats bad, even that directly impacts them, until its too late to do anything about it. They just want their life to work the way they want/are used to.

Valve body ≠ Transmission...

Ehh, and down the road they go racking up the miles same as the Toyotas. Mine's at 150k, a 3.5 ecoboost.

And let me get this straight, someone needs to trade in their 2017 truck because of a potentially $1.5k, maybe a fair amount less, repair?

Ehh, I used to share this take but I think it's a bit over the top now. There are at least certain vehicle models from other brands that I feel are in the sphere with Toyota, notably the Ford F-150. Used, it tends to be similar or cheaper than the Tundra in price and mostly better features and performance and it gets better fuel economy than the vaunted Tacoma, let alone the Tundra, while being significantly bigger/roomier and I dare say, not much less reliable.

Eufloria Classic

Almost perfect "simple" rts. Nothing terribly complicated about how it works. Really the only thing that keeps me from saying it is perfect is the lack of ability to set rally points for units or select multiple planets to move all the seedlings(units) all at once.

The sports stuff is pretty empty. Team specific (my teams) are mostly dead still. So I've been on the corresponding SB Nation blogs more than I had for a long time. Otherwise, just here.

Liking this. Gonna be fun seeing this team grow and take shape over the next couple years.

I don't understand why this isn't the most up voted selection.

What is this franchise doing? One day after resigning Grant this is coming out? What is going on?

As a Blazer fan who has thoroughly enjoyed watching Dame and thinks he's been a model star for the franchise and the league this needed to happen and I don't understand why it came to the point that Dame had to make the request. Ownership/management is so out of touch with actually building a winning team and has instead been stuck on trying to scrape together the best possible team every year to the detriment of the franchise actually being able to move forward.

A real rebuild was required when Lamarcus left and instead they half-assed it trying to produce a successful team immediately and could never get over that screw up.

Glad for the franchise and for Dame that someone came to their senses and will force the correct move for once.

Any ideas on what the difference is for the franchise signing Grant to potentially trade him vs not signing him at all? I really thought resigning Grant was the sign that everyone was in on running it back to at least start the season and look for potential trade deadline deals to pull in a star so I'm surprised this announcement comes out today.

That is an interesting proposition. I don't have the knowledge to judge how each party might view this but it's interesting.

A lineup of Dame, Sharp, Brown, Grant, and Nurk is definitely an interesting 5. Not sure if Portland can really put together much of a bench though. Not sure anyone outside Eubanks and Little are really "championship caliber bench" players and I'm not really sure those 2 are good enough to be the first ones off the bench on a championship level team, especially one that doesn't have a top 5 player.
