Hi, recently I started using authelia, and can't understand how I need to use it, and how do I share it with others

Before I had bitwarden, kept all my passwords there, and used the passwords to login to every service. Also in every service I had 2FA and/or FIDO.

But now I have authelia, and I'm trying to understand where should be the main password, and what services do I bypass, and etc

And the most important, how do I explain people how to use it, do I create them authelia credentials and send, or how?

Thank you

Ad-less Spotify on iOS (sh.itjust.works)

Hey-ho!

My girlfriend has an iPhone, and she is using Spotify free thingy

I'm using Jellyfin and very very happy (except my favorite client is unmaintained)

I suggested her that I can download all the music she might ever need, she said cool. But also, in case if she needs to find something rare or listen just one time, etc, what options can I setup for her(with no ads, and other bs)

P.S. is there YouTube with no ads?

My searx instance is down for a while, and I was forced to use and try all the search engines, all of them are really bad

You can set this as your default search engine and every use it will redirect you to a random searx instance

You made some typos in the title, lemme fix it:

Jellyfin is awesome for everyone and free

It was a many months transition, and it's finally done

Fun thing, you can actually make a backup of all* your messages, groups, contacts, etc. So before leaving you can have all of your data in case you need that one contact or something

The final red flag was as that allegedly Russian authorities were messing with people's deleted messages. Not for the first time there are news that they could read, modify, delete, see location, and etc. Screw it, this is unsafe, I'm out.

Also, these days telegram is really at the state of a pile of garbage, bloated, buggy, and shady messenger.

Hello, i'm a simple man, i enjoy playing only a few games, and one of them is civlization

I want to get a fixable* switch, fix* it as hard as possible to be able to play Civilization VI (and maybe skyrim?)

My questions are:

  • Will i face any issues in particular about this game?

  • how long would the battery last

  • performance?

*(Fixable/fix, because all the switches are broken, they don't allow you to pirate out of the box๐Ÿ˜‚)

Hey-ho ๐Ÿ‘‹

What is the best approach for selfhosting an email server with static IP or blocked port 25?

I've done it many times in many different ways, now doing it again and want to hear what is the best approach these days

My port 25 isn't even probably blocked, I just prefer to use my vps to help it with this stuff

Any suggestions?

You have 5 seconds to answer ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I'm currently using namecheap to buy cheap domains, I know they are not necessarily cheap in long term, but first year + coupons make them almost free

But now I've got some domains I don't want to just use one year, and it gives pretty much a lot of issues with pricing and privacy

So please, people, share services you use, and tell me whether they are private and/or cheap and/or have all those countless generic domains and not just .com .org .net

Hey-ho, privacy enthusiasts

I'm currently traveling around the world, and thinking about staying in Europe for 5ish years

But i'm a tinfoil guy and aware of the "many eyed beast"

So, what do you think? All lies and everything is actually dystopian, or everything should be fine?

I'm actually thinking about 4 countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece (because don't like cold, and actually a little bit sick of other countries in the EU๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…)

Somebody should create a piracy bible, and make this message part of it

I don't use any of their roms or apps but will donate $1-5

Have heard good things about the project, and there's actually not that many similar projects out there

To say even more correctly "license"

If you have a "license" game, you would absolutely mention it in a conversation about the game

So, like if a russian person is talking about a game and doesnct mention that this is a "license" game, then it's pirated

Thanks for explaining it, because it's a long and complex story I didn't want to type ๐Ÿ˜…

Also, probably the most touching point is how this happened. Gitea was a community project, and they were electing a leader every year or so, and giving them all the passwords (and it seems like the rights for the project, although it's not stated anywhere) This "out-of-nowhere" company is just one the temporary presidents that hijacked all the domains, repos, etc. Registered a for-profit company and transfered everything there

The community itself wrote an open letter wanting explanations And at the end they forked gitea into forgejo

[-] Gooey0210@sh.itjust.works 40 points 7 months ago

Everyone here is just ignoring the fact that this gitea is not the same gitea it used to be

The new one is called forgejo, and everyone should use that instead of gitea

As a violin/piano player, librescore script

As a person who can't stand table tea spoons and other not precise units of measurements, a script that converts all those voodoo units into metric

From addons also would like to add that add-on that adds a flag to a site

Translation add-on

Also, I don't use a password manager add-on, hotkeying is just so much nicer

These are not really "essential", just telling everyone some things i'm enjoying ๐Ÿ˜‹
