Even if we ignore how awful of a trim job this is and the lack of permits, it would be done in the Winter for the safety of the tree.

I havnt worked retail in years, but I have a recurring fantasy of printing off memes like this one and planting them around the local Walmart, Kroger, Home Depot etc.. It wouldn’t amount to much, which is partly why I haven’t, but I’d like to think it might open the eyes of one or two people.

Wikipedia is funded via donations, de-centralized social media could be too

It’s had a noticeable drop in quality since the protests. Still has loads more content than Lemmy, but Quantity ≠ Quality. I still check it for news/worldsnews/politics, but there’s really nothing important even there that isn’t on Lemmy as well.

As long as it’s fast and the battery lasts the whole day, I’m happy
