Konami published a lot of games that had potential but they didn't really take them anywhere.

You could probably build something decent for CAD$1000. Canada computers often have massive discounts on a lot of items. US$700 to CAD$1000 is not that far apart. The console would probably still be more performant but the point is, the prices are not that far apart anymore.
That has been pretty much my life lately here in Ottawa. I'll take boring any day over busy, overcrowded cities.
What helps me is listening to music with repeating sounds. It paces me and allows me to keep doing things for a longer period of time.
I pass this thing almost every week. It's not that creepy in real life.

Populous The Beginning
We're slowly progressing. The days of copying the USA's homework are behind us. We're somewhere in the middle now.
I think part of the issue is the individualistic culture of Ottawa. Everyone just minds their own business to a fault here.
