In Firefox, on Linux, behind a VPN and firewall with ad blocker, I run 5 different privacy/ad blocking extensions. I keep hearing about adds, but not seeing them.

Supposedly Youtube now is getting more agressive on this? I wouldn't know. Haven't seen a Youtube notice about it yet.

But really, I dream of the day youtube is replaced by something else. Fracture Youtube into 1,000 pieces and scatter it into the wind.

Nope. Alternate power structures that can seize power during crises is how socialist revolution can come about. Much writing on this, here is a link I randomly googled:

Star Trek Industrial Replicator...Star Trek has never really had an episode that explored the magic of what you could do if you had a replicator. Just having ONE, would change the world overnight, and forever. I'd start replicating replicators and handing them out.

BJs is a club, it's in terms of the membership. Same with SAMs, and Costco.

On the other hand, other stores can't detain you, it's not covered under "shop keepers privilege". Watch you-tube on shop keepers privilege if you want to learn the laws around that. Also be careful, stores can and will legally evict you (some stores are petty as fuck like that) and then if you go there, you're trespassing and can be arrested. It's generally legal to deny a member of the public access to your store for any reason, as long as it's not a prohibited reason under federal discrimination laws.

I get GS-12 pay. I'm part of a special project ran by a special agency to appear as a legitimate organic user and to slowly push for de-escalation of extremism one rationale comment at a time. Thanks for blowing my cover, jerk. fedposting

high contrast black on white text on a monitor. This is bad. Monitors are not paper. Give me light grey text on black-grey background all day long. I have to custom color firefox just to use the damn internet.

Schedule via a phone call, fill out the paperwork at the office, go to exclusively to Aldi and let them check me out because they are so freakin awesome, etc.

Forcing people to do uncompensated labor, such using smart phones or the internet to make medical appointments and fill out a ton of forms, make payments, and/or self-check out is bad.

Touch screens in cars are bad.

The internet (especially mobile internet since about 2012ish) is bad.

Most modern software sucks, usability has gone backwards. I blame Apple (and Microsoft following them). I use Linux, have for years, Libre Office needs some serious front end fixing, it's been bad since it was star office.

Give me back my MTV.
