If by decent you mean "person" then dammit he's been one of the greatest presidents/people. If you mean politically, I don't think he was meant for that game. I think you need a certain level of narcissism and desire to F over regular people for the benefit of the elites. He was lacking that. What he DID do, that no one can take away from his accomplishments, is he legalized home brewing which is why American beer is now good and not crap like it was before. These home brewers became the microbrewers, which is why we have what we have now. That God for Jimmy Carter.

I don’t agree that it’s victim blaming. We are all responsible for our own health. We need to do more than just listen to what a few people on television say. Everyone should do their work and if they don’t, they need to accept some responsibility.

I don’t blame Oprah for Jenny because they aren’t pretending she’s a Doctor as they promote her crack pot ideas. I’m smart enough to not take my medical advice from former Playmates. I can’t help it if the unintelligent masses do.

Maybe the point is that humans are not actively planning, communicating, and altering our environment in a positive way to be able to handle the population increase.

Only evidence I have is:
any day of week 1 of using Lemmy I had about 1 page of new stories on my subscribed communities any day of week 2 of using Lemmy I had about 2 pages of new stories on my communities any day of week 3 (this week) I'm at least 4 pages in and still haven't hit on the old stories

Since you mentioned us "older folks" I can't help but feel this is similar to the day AOL joined the Internet.
