Texas seceding would instantly start rapid balkanization of, if not civil war throughout, the country. And that would cost a lot of people a lot of money. It'll never happen but if it does stock up on beans and bullets.

If you are in the US and have grey stinkbugs you should kill them on sight, they're an invasive species. Native stinkbugs are slightly smaller and green. I flush every invasive one I can find and over the past four or five years it's really been working. I see more native ones every year now.

From an intro to a book on modern druids (what I consider my self)

“We (Druids) therefore recognize that our individuality is only an illusion, or a temporary state while we are in physical bodies. We are therefore not subordinate to anyone or anything, but rather interdependent upon each other. We recognize that if one person hurts, everyone hurts, if one person is homeless, everyone is affected by that state, that the good of the many outweighs the good of the few. So certain political philosophies, such as libertarianism, are anathema to us. Selfishness is the greatest evil there is. We really are our brothers keeper as he is ours."

I think that quote probably captures how a lot of us feel. Capitalism is in direct contradiction to that way of thinking. If we feel that all people are equals, all deserving of respect and compassion then the exploitation and suffering caused by the capitalist class must be opposed by us. And if you believe that you're connected to all living things then seeing your self as part of a collective is natural. Druidism is basically green anarchy with extra steps.

I found out about how bad outdoor lights are for bugs about a year ago. I try to only have my outside lights on when I'm actively using them. Strongly recommended every one who can to do the same.

I love Tarantino but I would hate to see his star trek. His balls hard R star wars movie on the other hand would be the best film in the series.

No worries about growing zone, weather, space requirements just your dream garden.

I would love to be able to grow vanilla, they look really cool the flowers smell amazing and having a source of fresh vanilla beans would probably unlock some next level cooking. An olive tree would be cool too, I can eat unlimited olives and making my own oil would be awesome.

I'm updating foundry to a version 11 and it broke an ass ton of my assets cause they're all "verified version 10"

So all I have to do is change that number, they're just maps so no need to update anything else, but I have like 400+ files to convert all in individual folders.

Please tell me there's an easy way to do this. (I'm on Linux obviously)

Probably my favorite type of game, I've played dozens of them but I'm always looking for something good I might have missed. My personal favorite for the past few years has definitely been Farthest Frontier but theres been a ton of good ones. And if anyone else is looking for recommendations let me what you like and I probably know something that fits.
