They may have, I do believe the amazon union is super new (like last 2 years i think?) so I would guess every year that passes they should have more and more power, it's fairly new and relatively small. All that is to say they will probably keep trying these and as the union grows it should be more and more effective until they actually have so many striking that amazon will have to negotiate.

The system is really bad but you should also factor in the price while searching for schools, I went to a state University, one of the minor ones, and tuition was under 10k/year. So your son paid more for 1 year than I did for my entire degree by almost a factor of 2. Some universities are way more expensive than others. I got a STEM degree and was employed 2 months after I graduated, with a very prestigious research position. So it's not like going to a shitter on paper school had an impact on me personally.

Man that's 1 issue in a sea of healthcare problems, I'm extremely glad that insulin was capped because that shit was insane but it's a pyrrhic victory in the scope of things.

It's like if I was to plug a deep wound I was bleeding out from with my finger. Yes it stops me from dying in the moment and that is cause for some celebration, but I'm still dying just not as quickly.

It was and they won! Now with Trump in office no more Palestinians will suffer! The humanitarian crisis is over, god-emperor himself said he wants Israel to "finish what they started". He must mean that war needs to end, what other interpretation could possibly be accurate? I thank Jesus personally every night for helping the man win who wants to jack inflation right back up after it's finally started taming. Our economy is in the right hands!

Yeah as another one of the youngest millennial (or the oldest gen Z depending on which year you classify the generational turn-over) I've never really understood the whole millennials are offended trope.

I grew up watching south park, family guy, ATHF, honestly pretty much everything on adult swim or comedy Central. There isn't much that offends me except glorifying ultra wealth, and that isn't offensive, it pisses me off personally.

All of my friends are the same way, honestly they are mostly more offensive than me even.

There has been exactly 1 millennial I know of that has shit takes like this and he's 2-3 years older than me. That's it 1 even though college, of course these articles aren't written to be accurate, it's just rage bait.

Can I please be seated anywhere else

Keppa is a bit better imo. A lot of price history goes back pre covid (not like it matters I just find it interesting to see), camelcamelcamel doesn't. IIRC had something to do with Amazon making them

Or maybe you didn't read:

not one post about the 759 Americans who died of #COVID19 in the last week of full data from the CDC

759x52= 39,468/ year which is around the flu but higher, makes sense since covid is newer. That's also assuming that the week in question is not an anomaly, which we don't know.

My argument is significantly stronger than your data handling

With the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), flu activity during 2021-2022 was lower than observed before the pandemic. Compared with flu seasons prior to pandemic, the 2021–2022 flu season was mild and occurred in two waves, with a higher number of hospitalizations in the second wave.

You picked a year where covid protocol statistically skewed the data lower than normal

https://www.cdc.gov/flu-burden/php/data-vis/2021-2022.html

Normal per year is typically around 20k deaths, but can go up to 50k

I do partially agree with your sentiment but the biggest issue is the Democratic party itself.

In my mind if they hadn't ham fisted Hilary in '16 none of this would have happened in the first place and that's only the tip of the iceberg of that parties failings.
