I'm sure this will get some downvotes, but how is buying a PS5 to let it sit considered a boycott? You literally handed them money for air at this point.

I understand compulsion purchasing as I suffer from it myself, but purchasing a whole console to let it sit is a whole nother level and just adds to the entire problem you're complaining about.

I really want to go electric, but the milage just isn't there yet for me, and add in the charging time and new maintenance routines of swapping out those batteries. I just haven't done enough research.

I don't think there's anything bad with giving the manufacturers money to switch their entire production facilities to electric, I just hope the government actually understands what those funds are being used for, unlike the money they gave our ISPs for infrastructure upgrades that went to waste.

The shells may be similar or the same but inside it would be like asking an apple orchard to change all their trees to oranges, and these funds will help expedite that.

I've seen some of the Trump ones and can conclude the rest probably look just as horrible and untrustworthy.

We need to be as vigilant in the November election cycle as we were for August. We've been fighting and scraping for the past year just to get signatures to make this a forced issue to vote on along with marijuana legalization.

The second issue has me hopeful to get them both passed in the state. Contraception goes hand in hand with people's vices, so let's hope we get an even better turnout than 1.6 million leftists to get these passed (~3 million total votes in August of ~8 million registered voters in the state). If we hit that magic 60% I'd be ecstatic. And dually hope LaRose loses his senate bid, gets him out of a job and someone else in the secretary seat.

I learned about this title too late to back the Kickstarter but absolutely loved The Messenger and SoS demo. I am very miffed that LRG distributed the KS but other physicals are being released by iam8bit. I'm currently waiting on Eastward CE that I purchased last July through iam8bit and they keep pushing the release back. They are claiming an early Q1 2024 release for this title but I'm VERY sceptical of that date.

Alyx is a prequel to HL2, so it can't be part of the episodic release. There were some cliffnotes a previous lead storyboarder had released on the loose plot of HL3 some years ago. It ended with Gman retiring freeman and employing Alyx if I recall correctly.

They'd probably prather not pay likeness fees, and there are a LOT of legal considerations Martinet would have to consider as signing the rights away to his own voice brings a lot of considerational challenges.

This is my main reason for not using them. I have two Pihole servers running gravity sync, unbound and wireguard on each and VPN my phone back home for self hosted DNS resolution and ad blocking.
