If they are hosting their own forum, an alternative could be NodeBB or Discourse who both are part of the fediverse and (should) work well with Lemmy

Funnily enough the Catholic Church definitely does not sanction the "Easter Bunny", they merely tolerate it

Meh it's the 60 year old man's decision to fight. Your argument is in the same vein as "you can't fight against a woman". If they want it, so be it.

Nature catastrophes are the top 1 danger to nuclear energy. See Fukushima.

And the real question here would be a comparison between risk of a nuclear accident event and a renewables-impacting climate event.

Alpine will buy their suspension from Mercedes going forward. So definitely not in their interest. The others maybe, I could see that.

Seems to be a newly released Alternate Scene

A bit weird choice given the subject matter of the race, you'd think?

Spoiler alert, this trailer does include storybeats

Don't watch this trailer if you want to avoid semi-big spoilers!

While Colapinto is attracting interest from Red Bull, the question remains as to where he would be placed should he end up joining the energy drinks company's roster.

According to rumours picked up over the Interlagos weekend, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko sees Liam Lawson, who has made a strong return to F1 since the United States GP, as Verstappen's team-mate in 2025.

In this scenario, an RB seat would be available for Colapinto alongside Yuki Tsunoda.

However, speculation suggests Horner's plan would be different, as he would prefer to promote Colapinto directly to Red Bull alongside Verstappen, in which case Lawson would be heading for his first full season in F1 at RB.

Horner would be interested in this scenario in order to maximise the financial potential of Colapinto, whose popularity has exploded in Argentina and throughout Central and South America.

The move would not be without risk, however, given Colapinto's limited experience.

Horner's vision also would not support the work of the Red Bull Junior Team, a programme that was once flourishing but has stalled in recent years.

For Marko, the possibility of promoting Lawson represents a return to the process that ensured the team was able to draw successfully from its own pool of young drivers.

Placing Colapinto alongside Verstappen after four seasons in which the role was held by Perez would be a blow to the junior programme, and Red Bull would find itself in the situation of locking its youngsters into RB for the fifth consecutive season.

"There was no Dutch media in the post race press conference either… By my count there was one French journalist. Four Brazilian journalists, Tom Clarkson (host) , the tv camera operator and me"

Verstappen had called out the "british media" for not attending the post race conference in Brazil.

Here’s showrunner Jac Schaeffer talking to EW about it:

"There were early conversations [about Hulkling]," Schaeffer said. "[Eddie] was originally called Teddy because we were looking at the artwork and thinking about that. That was a Marvel decision to not have him be Hulkling for the purposes of our show. Within our show, he is not Hulkling…but we pivoted to Eddie because he is named after a person that is important to the writers' room. It wasn't sort of teasing the fans, it was one of those lovely tributes to somebody who matters to us."

“I really wanted to include the character of Madisynn because I think she’s so deeply funny, and she talked about Jake the goat,” Schaeffer recalls. “We were all banging our heads against the wall trying to figure out, ‘How do we make the goat our literal and figurative gateway to getting Madisynn on the road?’ and it just didn’t work. It was shoe-horning. And I had to let that go.”

In the replay you can see him restarting the car over and over again and trying to get back on the track. The car even moves back and forth the whole time while he tries to reverse and turn around.

When asked about it in the interview with Sky Germany, Stroll said that he didn't know the car was as damaged as it was and was trying to continue.

Apparently, that's why the red flag took so long.

Sky Germany showed the full replay of him trying over and over again, did anyone manage to grab the replay of that?
