Would be awesome if we could get a Marvel vs. DC game to go along with these comic books.

This is me always. Would it be okay to ask them to repeat their name? Definitely. Will I? Nope. Too much social anxiety on that one.

Though I am trying more and more to do just that when I am in this situation. Also try to blame it on something else “hey I’m sorry but the music was so loud I couldn’t hear. What did you say your name was again??”

Looks like The Cat in the Hat’s cousin was responsible and left behind some evidence

RIP Riley. I’m sorry for your loss, OP.

It sounds like you two were blessed to have one another and you developed some beautiful memories.

Dude needs to make up his mind. But more than that, I think this is something you should leave for your own sanity.

If he doesn’t know what he wants, then a relationship is not what he needs right now. He needs to fix whatever is going on with himself and then he can worry about bringing someone else in.

I wouldn’t ever feel comfortable bringing someone into my life if I didn’t know what I wanted, relationship-wise. That seems disrespectful to practically waste someone else’s time who may have an idea of what they want and are going for it. Whereas this guy isn’t sure whether he wants you to stay or go. That’s not cool. That leaves you in a position like you’re feeling now, unsure about whether tomorrow will be the same or if he’ll wake up and decide this is it. You want to be confident of where you stand with someone you’re romantically involved with, not constantly questioning your position.

Yeah I remember learning about this in elementary school.

No TVs either? Most laptops and desktops over the last 15+ years have either HDMI/VGA which are generally available on TVs made in the last 15+ years too.

Additionally, if you get Windows 10/11 Pro (can be gotten for free nowadays with some searching) or Linux, you can either SSH or RDP into those boxes so you’d only need the monitor/TV on first time setup. After that, you’d just have the box sitting in a corner and you’d remote into that from another device. I have a Windows 11 Pro and Raspberry Pi at my home that I remote into and they never get connected to a monitor or TV unless something really bad happened like the OS borked or something. I even use my iPhone to RDP/SSH, so you don’t even need a computer for remoting either. The options to SSH/RDP are even better if you’re on Android, in my opinion.

If you have a family TV in the living room, that may be the best place to put it, though you’ll ideally also want somewhere with access to an Ethernet cable than relying on WiFi for the best performance. But I say next to the living room TV because then you can easily hook it up to the TV if you need to and not have to power down and physically move it.

You can set up RDP on most Linux distros. There are a lot of guides online to help with that so you can get a full view of the computer as if you were seated in front of a monitor. Otherwise you can just rely on SSH and run your commands off there. I use RDP for my W11 server and SSH for my PiHole server. The Windows App on iPhone (and iPad) works well for me, plus using a keyboard and mouse if I feel I need it. And then I have an SSH app on my phone I can use to connect and send commands remotely.

What was the first Star Trek show to include swearing? And have all since that one included it too?

A lot of people have been recommending Bazzite recently. It’s like SteamOS in a lot of ways and focused heavily on gaming.

SteamOS is unofficially available as well now but you’ll run into issues if you have Nvidia GPU like me.

I’ve heard Pop!_os being good for gaming too, and while I’ve used it, I didn’t use it for gaming.

This site has 11 that it recommends for distros that are good for gaming. But I question some like Ubuntu because I mean you can game but it’s not gaming focused https://itsfoss.com/linux-gaming-distributions/

Thanks Alice! I remember hearing some of that too now.

Because the game franchise itself is now the joke.
