As far as I know they're ready to eat so I don't wash them. There are these bags with mixed frozen fruits, ready to be used in smoothies, as well. Nowhere on the packaging does it say to wash them first. Same with frozen vegetables.

Meds. Everyone reacts to different meds differently so not all ADHD meds have the same (positive) effect for everyone. For me, Concerta works super well, but it might be something else for others.

Aside from meds, a routine works wonders. A routine with all of the day to day activities happening in the same order at roughly the same time (such as taking meds, doing the dishes, cooking, walking and feeding the dog, going to bed/getting up in the morning, etc). Or on the same day every week (such as cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc). If I need to add something to my routine it takes some time to adjust, so I preferably only add one thing at a time and other activities within my routine may get a bit chaotic for a while but as long as I stick to it it'll eventually become part of my routine.

The only downside to this is: if anything is different from my usual routine (it could be something as simple as the order of activities changing) it might mess up the routine for the rest of the day...

It's so good so far! One thing I kind of wish could be done though is manually categorising the roads. Because I sometimes just want to add 1 or 2 lanes to a small road for an intersection (so basically an alternate version of the vanilla asymmetric road) but it'll list the new road under Medium Roads instead of Small Roads. I'm assuming it's because of the number of lanes, but I'd still like for it to show up under Small Roads.

Just a tip if anyone is having trouble with UI disappearing when having certain mods enabled while using the Road Builder mod. What seems to work for me is this:

  1. Exit the game after enabling the mod(s).
  2. Reload the game.
  3. Open the Mods screen in the main menu.
  4. Go to your active playset and click 'Reset Load Order'.
  5. Load your save.

This worked for me for mods such as Better Bulldozer, Anarchy, Line Tool and the Traffic mod. I haven't tried other mods yet, but I hope it'll work for those as well!

I don't think it's the size but more the number of communities and how active they are. So if there are more people here it hopefully means there will be more active users as well. And perhaps more niche communities.

There's one game I recently discovered that I think deserves more love because it's such a good and addicting game (don't tell me I didn't warn you). The game is called Tiny Rogues and if you're a fan of roguelike/lite games (I've seen it being compared to Enter the Gungeon and Binding of Isaac a lot, but I haven't played the latter and only played a few runs of ETG so can't really compare them myself). It's really good!

Thanks very much for the explanation. I ended up having to uninstall the app first (instead of updating the current one, which normally works) then I installed the version you recommended and restored my backup. That seemed to do the trick!

I prefer Lemmy, but unfortunately it is missing a lot of the communities I liked on Reddit, and there doesn't seem to be as much content. When I'm looking for information on a specific topic I'll still check out Reddit but I haven't logged in since the Reddit drama and don't plan to. I do hope Lemmy gets bigger, though.

I mean, I suppose you could. It just wouldn't be as comfy and you might get some strange looks from other people here and there. XD

I love the spring and summer. I have fibromyalgia and the pain and fatigue is much better during the warmer months. I like the sunny weather as it cheers me up. The people outside make me feel like I'm on a holiday even when I'm not. It's the time of the year I feel the most motivated to do anything and I actually have the energy to do it.

Aside from that, the summer heat doesn't bother me that much. It's much better than the freezing cold for me. Unless it's almost 40°C, but I don't think anyone likes these high temperatures.

I agree with you about the mosquitoes, though.

Thanks for your response! I have asthma, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and Raynaud's. I was on a high protein diet a few years ago and worked very well for me. However, during flares I found it to be difficult to handle the restrictions (I put on myself) because when you have an autoimmune disease you can't diet like healthy people but also need to listen to your body's needs. As in, sometimes I need the extra energy / calories to just function. So I always listen to my own body in this.

I read that 3 to 4 times a week should work well, so that's why I'm trying this routine but I'll adjust this if I feel my body needs it.

Is the 14 (or however many hours) hours mainly to restrict the time window in which you can eat, to help with limiting your calories? Because I do track/log my calorie intake and am pretty good with staying within those limits.

The thing is, I often tend to forget to have breakfast so end up eating pretty late in the morning (at around 10 or 11, usually). So I figured I'd start at 8PM and end at 10PM. That way it wouldn't change my routine too much.

I'd love to see more healthy food, fitness, weight loss and healthy lifestyle-related communities! Also, I don't think there's a community for 'petite fitness'? Would love to see that as well.
