Daily reminder (especially to my Canadian homies) for the love of fuck do NOT travel to the US. They have made it clear they dont want visitors and it isnt safe for us to go there.

Do not risk it. Find any other safe country to visit and go there instead. Or stay home and see your own country.

Or if you want to visit North America, may I suggest Canada? Its nice here and we have cool things to see too. Also you wont be detained for no reason and live for months in a cage.

Im slightly hearing impaired. I can get by but it makes it way easier to understand what people are saying if I pay attention to their mouth.

Maybe OP is too and doesnt realize it yet.

Wow you sure know a lot about Canada. You must have been here a long time, huh? Surely your opinion is based on experience and a deep understanding of our culture. There's no way that opinion is based on internet discourse.

Canadians are very well aware of how we've treated and continue to treat Indigenous people. There's an active movement towards reconciliation and self governance. Canadians are not ignorant of the history or the current situation. You are.

There are a handful of loud Maple MAGAs that have been continually losing elections. So yeah, there's some of that here. However, OP is just salty that the US is a fiery shitshow and is deflecting.

Ive noticed in my area the only signs left out are Conservative ones. To be clear, they arent the ones put out by the candidate but are being left out by homeowners. No other party's signs are still out.

Is this a thing Im just not aware of since I dont travel in conservative circles very much or is it just a big coincidence.

It was my first time doing it and it went well thanks to some help from my neighbour.

Hi all. My wife has celiac disease and cannot have gluten at all. Ive cut out all American products but its much harder for her since her food options are so limited.

I was wondering what Canadian (or just not American) gluten free products or brands you might recommend! Thanks!

So every time we get bread it comes in a stretchy bag. However, once we pull it out of the freezer later the bag is noticeably more crinkly and brittle. Anyone know why this is? I can't seem to find an answer to this phenomenon anywhere.

Hi all. When I bought my house I also inherited several plastic raised beds. The previous owner told me to mound up the dirt every winter so the soil wouldnt expand and crack them.

I was wondering if this is actually necessary or just something they thought they needed to do. I have never heard of this before but then again, Ive always only had wooden ones before.

Im trying not to till the soil too much so Id like to avoid mounding it if I can. Does anyone here have plastic raised beds? Do you mound the soil or leave it as is?
