Remember that time you said you were gonna travel? You were gonna go to Japan, you said. Too late now. You're too tired, you don't have any money. All you have is the Sloth Demon.

That's the wombo combo of depression and poverty.

Time to cause trouble! >:3

Bismuth is also a popular substitute.

No, Mr. Hog. I expect you to die.

We have become as gods! No longer are we bound by the petty moralities of others! We chart and follow our own courses!

Damn Dostoevsky! I ain't reading all that! Can you summarize it further? Maybe over a nightcore background track?

They did though? Not directly naming them, but the final paragraph lays out how traditional journals of record are being destroyed by direction "from the top".

I still don't trust Newsom. It was good that the article called out his position during the podcast interviews with his conservative guests.

Smorty, you're already magical for the rest of us!

See, that's the thing: I know it was against any arbitrary charges that were known to come, but as you say - MAGA won't hold themselves to reason, so rational preemption won't work. And the actual crimes Hunter was convicted of during that time were absolved. All after Biden Sr avowed he would not pardon him.

I don't have children, so I cannot fault his devotion to his kid, but I still feel that justice was not (and maybe could never be) had, and that the position and responsibility of president and presidential pardon were severely cheapened as a result.

“Being a good father,” Biden said.

Do good fathers exonerate their children for corruption?

I recognize that Hunter was a target of right-wing lawfare, but I maintain that a blanket parden of all 'nonviolent crimes' for over a decade is the wrong tool for the job.

I guess not 1:1, but it depends on what effect you're looking to substitute. Caffeine pills will do what you want, but remove the flavor of coffee.

I like collecting guns for their novelties, rather than the complete set. I don't need four plastic fantastics from different manufacturers. This one is fun because it has an integrated suppressor, resulting in a yuge muzzle. Takes bog-standard Glock 17 magazines and has a dogshit trigger, but ai like it anyway.

It's common to the point of mootness, but: when describing the planet, Earth is a proper noun and should be capitalized. Otherwise you are referring to soil.

I sit down from cleaning out an office with a found magazine - was struck by how much is the same as it ever was.

I've recently come into possession of a large number of Mason jars. Being a fan of sauerkraut and knowing of Lemmy's significant German/Czech populatuon, I'd like to ask how you make the best sauerkraut. What do you add beyond salt and cabbage? How do you store it?

I suppose this may also apply to kimchi and other pickled foods, too!

After two(?) years of some hand me down slippers, I've finally got a new pair.

They released the magazine-fed levergun!

Jury's still out about being a real worm, though.
