I don't like sitcoms in general but the fact someone made this is funnier to me than any sitcom I have ever seen and I have my own laughing track going on in here right now.

Anyone got suggestions for alternatives to Teamviewer, business use? Needs to have: -unattended access -around 2000 hosts -4 or 5 people using it for support -cheaper than teamviewer -file sharing -as lightweight as possible -works on other systems than windows (not obligatory) -decent UI

any personal experiences, even if they differ from these specs are welcome 🙂 Tried to look for alternatives, but so far nothing feels right for my use case.

Nobody is going to take us leftist seriously with these mofos being so historically illiterate and apologist to mass murderers. Why do ya'll have to circlejerk same dead men all the time, can't ya'll like develop nuanced critique of current technological capitalist system on ya'll own?

I went with best AMD I could get at the time, 7900xtx sapphire nitro. For gaming, it's already really good, I can use raytracing, although not on best settings on some games, but in most cases I can just max out the settings.

Main complaint atm is that self hosting AI is much more annoying than it would be on nvidia. I usually get everything to work eventually, but it always needs that extra level of technical fuckery.

99% of those adapters are garbage that break down in month or so. I am writing this on FP4 but I am also salty audio engineer and I would honestly trade my phones cameras to aux jack, just to avoid hastle.

Flying cars is a fucking stupid idea.

-constant fear of some drunk driver flying 300kmph to your house -only useful for medium length journey

-has to be heavily controlled for safety, meaning you can only fly specific routes

-airspace of anything important is no fly zone, like airports, government buildings, ports, basically every city

-needs fossile fuel to fly, more than a normal ICE car

-needs designated landing area

-needs city planning to be centered around them

-unlimited potential for terrorists

-drivers would need specific license and training

Whoever is unironically shipping flying cars is a fucking moron and you can't prove me otherwise, no matter if it technically works or not.

I buy most of my content, steam mostly for games, have spotify, buy music from bandcamp for DJ sets, at least my favorites, have family netflix, HBO, disney +, although I don't use those as much since they are mostly full of crap. Sometimes I even buy/rent a movie if it is not available in those and I can't find any torrent, or just out of convenience. I produce music and buy all my audio software (ableton and fuckton of plugins) because I don't want to deal with the hassle of using pirated versions. I buy ebooks every now and then too, although with that I also admittely pirate some, especially when the author is dead, in which case I really don't feel any guilt for pirating it. I also use patreon often and support creators that way.

I still think piracy needs to be an option, so streaming services can't have their way and we are just forced to use their enshittified platforms. I avoid it, because I understand not everything can be open source, and nothing get's done without revenue. I don't pirate from small authors/creators.

All the while musicians get basically fucking nothing from huge streaming services profiting from their labor. Series get cancelled left and right despite good reception because they were not profitable enough, although still profitable, because netflix is only interested making next big hit. Games are filled with microtransactions and kernel level tracking (anti cheat), forced online features in single player game and sometimes games one bought are just made unavailable, like with old mobile games (case in point, dead space mobile). Professional software is often moved to predatory subscription models and paywalled updates to the software, like Avid, Waves.

And people still cirlejerk about piracy being the worst thing to intellectual property ever. Problem isn't piracy, problem is small creators are payed so little from listens/views/whatever that the can barely get by, and have to make alternate source of income via patreon or some other stuff. Piracy won't even make a dent in that.

Luckily in every category some people/companies are pushing back but all of this is just case in point why we need piracy. When I get around releasing music/games, I don't mind piracy at all, might even put my own tunes on pirate sites out of spite. Current intellectual property laws are fucking joke and only benefit the largest creators in their respective fields.

Don't wanna start any argument about this but I don't think I ever wanted to read a single email newsletter, whatever it is I want to read, I read it somewhere else.

Not my town, but there is a junk shop in main railway station, (sells clothing, shit like t-shirts with weed prints, pipes, random little trinkets). I can only assume rent is very expensive in such a central location, and I really can't think of any way how that place is profitable. I only visited once as a teen since they sold us weed pipes even though I was underage. -There is a actual tobacco shop nearby, with much better selection. -There is never any customers -None of the products sold are very valuable, so they would have to sell lot of them to make profit -If you really wanted to buy cringe t-shirt, there is many shops for that around as well, all of which are well known compared to this one

Many business have gone under during the years in that location, replaced with others, but somehow this one place has been there over 10 years.
