if you go to this thread on hexbear, there's dozens of comments of people talking about how Hezbollah is an embarrassment and Israel has just won this war, and if you check their post histories every single person making those comments is a westoid

russia was not attempting to capture kiev. they did not deploy even 10% of the troops that would require. this myth is persistent because it gives the west a narrative of victory, but there was never an attempt to seriously take kiev. it was a feint to try and force concessions quickly, and if that failed, it doubled as a pinning operation to prevent Ukrainian reserves from reaching Donbas

Except the cope is coming from the doomers, who pop into this thread every time Ukraine has a PR victory to gloat/whinge. It’s a purely emotional and selfish reaction, not analysis
