when all hope seems lost, tens of thousands of Slava Rossiya crew rocking up to the polls in Michigan with St. George's Ribbons and DPR flags and Andrei Rublev icons to cast their vote for Iosef Ба́йден.

I think intercoms, speaking tubes, and phone line simulators are cool. I want some situation where I have an excuse to set up a working pair of Western Electric 2500 or 2554 telephones. no dialing, just pick up and talk, and maybe one aftermarket button for ringing every other connected phone. Maybe instead of a button, a dynamo crank for a very retro feel. or perhaps in addition to ringing, you also have small red incandescent indicator bulb that illuminates on every Telephone when receiver is lifted.

Gonna make the biggest Soyface when I go and vlog at the German Ghost Cities.

PRC celebrates Chinese New Years today. my red envelop gift is the bit idea of an ultra who's convinced that the PRC is bourgeois because it tolerates magicians.

Chat GPT rendition of the bit:

spoilerHey comrades,

I couldn't help but stumble upon some mind-boggling evidence of bourgeois decadence in China, and it's not your typical capitalist excess. Brace yourselves, because this revelation is straight out of a magician's hat – yes, you heard it right, professional magicians in the People's Republic of China!

Now, I know what you're thinking – "But isn't China supposed to be a beacon of communism?" Well, my fellow anarchists, prepare to have your illusions shattered, just like those rabbits pulled out of hats. It turns out that the Chinese government is not only embracing capitalism but has taken it to a whole new level by employing professional magicians.

Let's break this down. In a society that claims to be striving for a classless, stateless utopia, why on earth would they indulge in such bourgeois frivolities as magic shows? Isn't magic just another distraction, a tool used by the ruling class to keep the proletariat entertained and blind to the harsh realities of their exploitation?

While we're busy toiling away, these so-called magicians are probably using their sleight of hand to divert attention from the true issues at hand – the ever-growing wealth gap, the suppression of dissent, and the authoritarian tendencies of the Chinese state. It's like they're pulling a disappearing act on our rights and freedoms!

And don't get me started on the opulence of these magic performances. Lavish venues, expensive props, and a mesmerized audience – it's a spectacle of extravagance that screams bourgeois decadence. Meanwhile, the proletariat is left with crumbs, struggling to make ends meet while the ruling elite revels in illusions and sleights of hand.

I can't help but wonder: are these magicians being used as pawns in the state's propaganda game, distracting the masses from the harsh realities of a regime that claims to champion communism but acts like a capitalist wizard behind the scenes?

Comrades, it's time to unmask the illusion, expose the trickery, and demand a true proletarian revolution that transcends the smoke and mirrors of bourgeois magic shows. Let's not be fooled by the spectacle – our focus should be on dismantling the oppressive structures that keep us all under the spell of capitalist exploitation.

Solidarity forever, and may your chains be broken like the magician's wand,

The long-standing cold war between the PRC enjoyers and the Polisci liberals in every Chinese class recently escalated this week, when allegedly, a defector crossed the DMZ of stacked desks dividing the classroom to claim asylum in the Enjoyer camp. the Enjoyers have declined to release the individuals name, citing his safety. a spokeperson for the Libs has identified the defector as Winston Gore, also known as Gao Wenzhong, a 3rd year Student and alleged sleeper agent.

Especially rich the strawman critique that leftists who ever mention imperialism just have an "america bad" stance. what sort of greatly nuanced perspective do these people show for their adversary countries? "Russia bad, but it's beyond the pale to support Chechen Islamism as a counter"? Hardly, these people are way too comfortable calling Kadyrovites race traitors for fighting for the autonomous government rather than ISIS. "Russia bad, but their national weather service's climate change archives shouldn't be nuked." - a deranged take that would get you banned from SlavaNeoliberalDefence.

Finasteride can. so can guys in Turkey. I've seen really impressive results from each. the sooner you start finasteride the better. some not great side effects though, so hopefully you're not sensitive.

Biden is making a mistake by not handling this aggressively. might makes right. People see power being exercised, and will naturally assume the person being targeted did something to deserve it. If they arrest him really gently, people will think they're spineless fascists. they're missing an opportunity if they don't do something dramatic with national guard helicopters landing on his lawn.

you can buy CO2 at welding supply shops. much cheaper than soda stream, of course you need to pay the $100 dollar deposit for the cylinder. most shops also have "beverage grade" CO2, which is probably less pure if anything than the regular labeled CO2, both are fine, and will likely give you a tank with a siphon if you ask, which you'll want. If your cylinder doesn't have a siphon, you'll need to hold it above your tank, upside down, which is a minor inconvenience with a 10lb or larger tank..

from there, either get a hose and adapter which connects directly to your soda stream from the cylinder, or some hoses and adapters for filling your existing CO2 tanks. paintball gun tanks can also be used with an adapter, though they'll be wider than the sodastream ones, and might not have the clearance for your machine, or wont let the plastic cover go back on.

Most Soda-stream tanks have an anti-backflow valve, which requires going slowly and carefully to fill up, or replacing the valve and then you can fill it up normally. freeze your tanks before filling, and you'll be able to fill them up more. weigh them while you do it, the cylinders will have a rated weight and tare engraved on the neck.

also, the route with the fewest tools, is to unscrew the valve, and funnel in the appropriate weight of crushed dry ice, and then screw the valve back on. sounds more expensive in the long run, and potentially dangerous.
