One day they’ll train the bipartisan legislation to stand up and physically defend democracy. Kind of like how they think the constitution and laws on paper will actually get up and stand in front of criminals, physically barring them from criminaling

They’re not afraid they’re manufacturing consent by manufacturing a crisis

Every place they’re going into is relatively safe. Even DC is generally fine. I’ve lived in nyc for 7 years I’ve lived in DC for 1 year and I have friends who live in and near LA. I go into NYC often (although Times Square is a shit hole just because it’s mostly tourists), These places are large, dense areas that also have a large variance of wealth among their inhabitants. There will always be crime in cities because of density and wealth disparity; that is a given. What’s incredible is that the much, much, much less dense areas that are generally hyper-conservative have more crime per capita, yet we see no attempts to remedy those situations. Every single thing would favor them to be safer places, but we continuously ignore the ideology present there that actively threatens the existence of our race, and will continue to do so until we cease to exist

This sickening, astroturfed fraudulent ideology must be put down if we are to survive, and that rhetoric needs to be normalized

Warehouse and distribution center I do some side work for has legitimately considered closing its doors. It’s been around 50+ years with a fairly healthy cash flow. I guess that’s more abstractly indicative of a failing economy not a particular sector

Also inflation is also way way waaaay higher than reports ever indicate. Hedonic adjustment keeps adjusting for the quality of goods improving, when in reality most aren’t, and some are actively getting worse. Economists are so smart aren’t they
