Soliman is a young Palestinian from Gaza who lives under extremely difficult circumstances. Despite his young age, he struggles to balance his education while shouldering the primary responsibility of supporting his family. The burden has become overwhelming, especially after the family lost their only source of income.

They once owned a modest farm with olive and citrus trees, along with a small plastic greenhouse. This farm was not only a livelihood but a place filled with childhood memories—where Soliman and his siblings used to help their father with the agricultural work. Sadly, the entire farm was burned and completely destroyed by Israeli attacks, wiping out the crops, tools, and everything they had built over the years.

The tragedy didn’t end there. Their family home was also destroyed in the recent Israeli bombardment of Gaza, leaving them homeless and without any source of income, amid the long-standing humanitarian crisis gripping the region.

Yet, despite all this, Soliman remains resilient. He continues to pursue his education and works tirelessly to provide even the bare minimum for his family. But the weight of these responsibilities is far too heavy for one young man to bear alone.

In the face of such devastating hardship, you are their only hope after God. Your support can help Soliman and his family overcome this tragedy and rebuild a part of the life they once knew. Any assistance, no matter how small, can make a profound difference

Dear friends at Hekspir,

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your amazing support. Thanks to your generous donations, I was able to provide some food for my family during these difficult times, something I couldn’t have done on my own.

A little about my story: I am a young man trying to support my family while continuing my studies, and life has been very tough after losing our main source of income. Your donations have given us hope and the strength to keep going.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each of you. Your kindness and prayers are not just material help—they are messages of solidarity and hope that we live by because of you.

Here we are, oppressed in our own land, but surely relief will come and we will prevail. We turn to you to carry our voice, and we want you to always remember that we are the rightful owners of this land. Thank you to everyone who has supported us—emotionally, financially, and humanly. We love you. You are the ones who will save us, who will help us, and who will stand by our side❤️

I don’t know what the problem is, which country do you live in?

[–] Soliman_ayman@hexbear.net 1 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Try it like this, my friend.

https://gofund.me/9921a519

[–] Soliman_ayman@hexbear.net 2 points 6 days ago

Since the prices are very high for example, a 25 kg bag of flour can cost up to €650, 1 kg of sugar €80, and a new tent around €2,000.

[–] Soliman_ayman@hexbear.net 2 points 6 days ago

No, it’s not like that. This money is not enough, so we save it until it becomes a decent amount, then we either buy a new tent instead of the one worn out by the sun, or we use it to buy flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar, or to refill water.

[–] Soliman_ayman@hexbear.net 2 points 6 days ago (3 children)

No, not the organizer, but here the money changers and commission takers under the pretext of liquidity and things like that.

[–] Soliman_ayman@hexbear.net 2 points 6 days ago (5 children)

The money reaches me by being transferred from the campaign organizer’s account to my uncle’s account. Then I take the amount in cash, but a 50% fee is deducted as commission.

Your message truly left a clear mark on my heart.

Thank you for your compassion and humanity, and for your sincere feelings.

I am deeply grateful to you, and I pray that God blesses you, grants you success, and fills your life with happiness and joy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
