It's an atheist group designed to point out religious hypocrisy. It actually has been rather useful.

I would disagree that senators and congressmen are just vote messengers. They run on active platforms, respond to changes in their constituencies (hopefully), deal with new issues as they arise.

Electors literally just ferry the states vote to Washington, that's it and job done. Representatives continually represent the will of their constituents through multiple years, or at least that's what they are supposed to do.

Nope, it's a really great adaptation. The changes they made were mostly to make it work better in live action, and a few story changes I actually really liked since they improved on aspects of some characters back stories.

And really, it's juts a lot of fun. My girlfriend who doesn't watch any anime absolutely loved the live action version, and is impatient for season 2.

I approximate that astrology is bullshit based on nothing. So far the data backs me up and no one has found any positive data in it's favour. Astrology is conman crap, always has been.

Are you going to start telling me evolution doesn't exist, because it's just a theory next?

But they aren't really, they're just vote messengers, they aren't on capital hill making laws and advocating for their constituents.

People have been using crypto for drugs since it was created, so I don;t know what to tell you, seems plenty safe for that purpose.

Go to school.

How you've deluded yourself into thinking bartering and money are the same thing is beyond me.

If I pay off my debt to a friend with a bottle of whiskey, is whiskey now money?

No, it's called bartering, and it's an entirely different concept.

[–] Tavarin@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Nope, not the same thing.

[–] Tavarin@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Well if you read it you failed to understand it, because it clearly discusses barter systems relating to debt, not currency.

[–] Tavarin@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Your refusal to understand the difference between bartering and money is making it impossible to educate you on why you are wrong. Debt is not money, bartering is not money, they are different concepts.

They also didn't have currency.

Do you know how I know you didn't?
