Its literally the lowest form of entertainment and its not worth a single moment of ad watching.

I'm just curious, but what type of content would you be watching on YouTube?

I think the platform has come a long ways when it comes to content. Sure, if you're just watching gaming content I'd say you'd be disappointed. It's been like that for a decade now at least. There's a lot of decent content on there though with a lot of it even being somewhat educational.

Says a lot about where our society is going.

I know someone is going to make it sound easier than what it really is, but having to sift through the site, fighting against the algorithm's sorting to find something you like is hard.

Been saying this for a while.

We have to work harder to communicate with some of these people. There's definitely a lot of right wingers that are straight up gone(genuine fascists/neo nazis who know what they're doing), but there's a lot that are simply brainwashed or fear mongered. Instead of laughing at them we should be trying to bring them back to the right path.

This is an online forum. You can't tell me not to respond or not to discuss something. Doing so isn't misogynism. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the community this is posted in is not a women's exclusive space either.

You want to see misogynism? Go hunt down the guys who treat women like objects in the OP. I don't know what you want from me.

Would have been nice if more of the women in mmorpgs I played growing up were like that. Too many guilds were torn apart intentionally by women who damn well knew what they were doing and knew that at least one of your staff members was easy to twist around their fingers.

Edit: For anyone seething, women are people and they deserve respect like anyone else, but they are also people, and some of them are assholes.

You know what's baffling to me?

She was poor at some point. She lived in poverty off of government welfare. Chances are there are a good amount of children who grew up with her works that transitioned later on. They are part of the same fanbase that lifted her from poverty.

How can you genuinely turn out that unsympathetic for your fellow human beings like that?

Let's be real, this isn't about people not voting anymore.

Those of us who have resolved to vote Biden despite much of our displeasure towards the handling of Israel/Gaze were going to do so anyways. You won't convince those who have decided not to vote this way either.

Screaming at people to vote will not make them want to vote. Worst case scenario you piss them off enough that the spite vote against you. People aren't puppets for you to control by telling them what's in their bests interests and demanding they follow through. You have to work with them in a pleasant manner if you genuinely want to convince them.

But again, I don't think this is about people not voting anymore. Some people are genuinely unhappy that others are unhappy with their options for candidates. So many people on the moderate left can't be satisfied with the fact that they have such a firm grip on intelligent voters who understand the status quo. It's not enough for them to know that our options are bleak and that we have to vote for someone supporting genocide, versus letting someone who would openly participate in genocide get in office. You genuinely want us to shut up and stop complaining and to stop criticizing the current administration.

Also, the amount of people I've seen discuss implementing mandatory voting as if it wasn't a trait of an authoritarian government is insane. Maybe if our voting process had more options it wouldn't be authoritarian, but as it stands now making voting mandatory would be little more than coercion.

People are fake. A lot of online spaces outside of spots like Facebook (which is Gen X/boomer territory) are more so left leaning, so a lot of people tend to spout what they think is popular. Some might believe it but won't put any efforts into practicing those beliefs, while others just simply don't believe what they're sharing.

Pride month is a good example of this. As soon as the months over most people who were spamming their socials with all sorts of LGBT support messages could care less.

Don't know about other Americans, but I would love to be able to have this kind of lifestyle. It's just not realistic over here due to the infrastructure. It's not within my power to make the changes necessary for it though.

Cats are the rightful rulers of this world. It would be foolish to oppose them.

I don't mean to sweep this under the rug, but I think that just stands as another case for the fact that an enormous amount of people in this country have mental health issues. It's normalized at this point.

Besides that, news outlets that report on this only do so basically of the drama and the views. The solutions are in front of us, always have been, but that's not what anyone truly cares about.
