Happy Ace Week!

I was just sort of bemused because I could see the guys thought process being like “oh no I used neutral pronouns they’re going to think I’m gay”, quick start misgendering!

Definitely something I've noticed. A lot of homophobia being used by highschoolers, followed by "just messing around, I don't really have a problem with people being gay", followed by either insisting they aren't gay or jokes by others about them being gay. Was a bit surprised transphobia seemed less common than homophobia in those groups. Like, I don't remember hearing any overt homophobia when I was in grade-school (just "no homo" type comments). But maybe people just kept quiet with those jokes around me?

Me: "I should probably come out to my parents"

Also me when my mom just casually having her hand on my back: "Oh no, she might notice what I'm wearing"

You can get bloodwork through places like labcorp/questhealth where there is no doctor to talk to. But probably a lot harder to get insurance to cover that and its probably like $200 OOP. They'll just upload your results. I get my HRT via PP virtual appointments, so that's how I get my blood tested anyways (but insurance covers most of the cost). The nurses there have never brought attention to the fact that I'm getting tested for E (and I think the provider requesting the test has their name obscured, so its not obvious its planned parenthood).

which only even worked in 2020 because of the freshness of COVID imo.

Didn't Trump also discourage his supporters from voting by telling them the election was being stolen like right before the election?

This is funny to some nurses/doctors for some reason because I’m an adult and a “man”

Kinda annoying that some nurses like to make fun of male-presenting people for this kind of thing. First time I almost fainted (never have yet from bloodwork), I was just in the waiting room waiting for my brother to finished and was just watching TV (until the TV turned black in my vision). No needles or blood involved (both of which I am uncomfortable with).

"I'm sleepy" sounds like a valid response.

One time like 8 years ago I talked to someone at the park who said "that's fair" like every other sentence. I still regularly fall into doing that now as a result. Rocks/rules seems better to me.

What do they do when they change their sheets? Just throw the old ones away?
