Always fun to say I'm my legal height and have guys get defensive about their height because it would mean they're shorter than they say they are. Maybe I round down a bit?

Isn't getting mortgage insurance in Florida already becoming a challenge. I know there's some specific Florida laws that contribute to that problem, so it might not really be reflecting climate change much yet though.

Do you want those to be signs that you're some form of trans?

spoilerIf yes, then probably yes. If no, why not? If its fear of the stigma or challenges involved with being trans, then maybe?

Also, there's more than options than just binary fem trans women. Masc women exist and there are non-binary options.

As someone who has been stuck on i10 traffic trying to get out of Houston, it sounds expected.

That doesn't mean a paranoid user would trust such claims. Also, if you use the same VPN IP to access hexbear and the survey, a paranoid person could worry about the linking of the two. Of course if you are worried enough about that, it seems like an easy thing to avoid.

Either way, I personally wouldn't have been worried about anonymization. I just didn't take it because my accounts aren't on hexbear, even though it's the community I post on the most, so I wasn't sure if I was welcomed or not. Guess a question about whether you have a hexbear account or not could be included alongside the demographic?

Is the opsec reason that valid in an anonymous survey? Unless they think the admins would use that info to target them if they left any specific comments or they thought IP might be used to identify them. Seems like it would be pretty uncommon and might catch as many eggs as it does cis people lying for opsec reasons.

Still, certainly better not to make such assumption than to make those assumptions. Especially with options like comrade that can be appealing regardless of gender identity.

Had my 6 month followup today and they asked me about it without any prompting, so that's cool (I didn't want it though).

I meant if its not counted because the eye doesn't technically cross the land in a lot of the projections... irrelevant to those directly next to the eye along the coast, but possibly a technicality to not count it.

Looks like it's gonna be basically tied for the record of highest windspeeds at landfall if you count it's course over Mexico as landfall. With these rapidly intensifying storms forming right off the coast, it's gonna be harder to flee in time...

My wife told that she stopped complimenting boys when the 100th one in a row thought it meant she wanted to make out.

100 in a row? Not even the occasional person who just assumed that she's being sarcastic and actually insulting them?

If I don't already have water, it's annoying having to find my cup (which might require turning on a light), go to the kitchen to refill (which requires dealing with the fridge light), and then try to fall back asleep after that. I'm generally not good at falling asleep, so if I can avoid getting up or turning on lights, the better chance of falling back asleep quickly. Getting up like that might cost hours of sleep time.

Leg cramps can be fun, but not when trying to sleep. I had some problems with those night cramps when starting spiro - one night I couldn't just walk it out, so I had to drink water if I wanted to sleep (I did try to sleep while just ignoring the cramp, but that wasn't successful). Made me kinda glad my brain often seems to discards pain signals. Fortunately, haven't had night cramps in the last few months.
