Just remove them just in case.

Watched Moana with family for the first time yesterday. I long associated the 'How Far I'll Go Song' with trans experience (not necessarily that it was specifically intended to be interpreted that way), well before realizing I was an egg. I'm sure others self-insert in other ways, just like with Frozen's Let It Go. And plenty of people just think of them as being cute movies without thinking of anything being a metaphor.

Either way, was kinda funny watching a movie I personally associated with trans with the family on Thanksgiving. I should ask my brother why he picked that one out for us to watch.

Been trying to lose weight for the past month (lost about 10-15lbs), so didn't expect much boob growth as a result of limited calories, but noticed this morning I have stretch marks above one of them. So I guess they are? Yesterday was a bit of a cheat day, so maybe all the extra calories just went there? Far from the first cheat day during that month though.

Next time you could try reading miniskirt and heels* in a one piece just because

*This is just a bit, not an actual reading recommendation

My state pays $20/day. The last time I was summoned, the estimated cost of the commute using the IRS average is $35 (granted, that's a high estimate) and not reimbursed or compensated. Also the $20 is taxed. So it effectively cost me money to go to jury duty in my old county even before accounting for lost wages.

Tariffs were barely talked about until the day after the election for some reason. So a lot of people learned after the election....

When we don't get paid because we miss work and are dependent on that money, it can be annoying. In theory, I think it would be cool to be on a jury, but its a luxury to be able to afford to be on a jury.

Sounds like a great way to ruin Thanksgiving. Would be fun to be there!

Fortunately it should be a small immediate family thing for us this year.

Good luck with the surgery recovery and outcomes!

I've seen others say comparing one person's score over time can be useful. So like if you were a 3, but now you are a 5 something has gotten worse.

Also, it can be one aspect of determining if someone needs pain killers apparently.

But it was only after more visual inspection in the ambulance they immediately gave me morphine.

Can relate. When I broke my left wrist, I probably would have described the pain as a 1 at the ER if they had even bothered to ask; instead they just brought painkillers to me (just something like codeine) after seeing it (the x-ray tech was a bit surprised they didn't go with an injection). When I broke my collar bone, I said 2-3 because I was afraid I wouldn't be taken seriously if I said 1-2 at the ER (if I had seen a mirror with my shirt off beforehand, I might have been a less worried about that).

I expect to see my half-siblings for the first time since before covid soonish. Last time we met (was the first time I met any of them), the sperm donor also was there (and his son), and people seemed to agree I was the offspring that looked most like the donor. Kinda curious if people will think the same still. I think I look more like my sister now than pre-E, but not really sure if I look anymore like my birthmom and I might actually look less like my actual mom (whom is not related by blood) as a result.

spoiler

but i think when I finally got the jokes I appreciated it way more…

Such a fun reward for learning more of the language. Like, I barely know anything, but its fun being able to point out things like how the hair color and names of the generation of miracles in Koroko's basket relate and makes their names a lot easier to remember. Given how little I know, yet sometimes notice things like that, I'm sure I'm missing a lot of other things just because of the language barrier.
