Ich stimme absolut zu, dass es sinnvoller ist, bestehende Infrastruktur auszubauen. Deswegen ja auch mein letzter Satz. Allerdings sind Seilbahnen sehr einfach in bestehende Städte integrierbar. Kleinere Gebäude können einfach "überflogen" werden und Seilbahntrassen können hervorragend über existierenden Straßen Gebaut werden, ohne dass diese sich gegenseitig behindern. In sachen Durchsatz ist ein Gondellift bei ca. 4000 Personen pro Stunde. Das ist deutlich besser als Bus (ca. 1500) und Straßenbahn (ca. 2000), kann aber nicht mit U-Bahnen mithalten (ca. 9000) Aber gerade in bereits dicht besiedelten Gebieten bieten sich Seilbahnen als zusätzliche Möglichkeit an. Außerdem können Seilbahnen sehr wohl Kurven zurück legen. Aufgrund ihrer natürlichen Umgebung wird dies bis jetzt nur sehr wenig genutzt.

You're talking a bunch of bullcrap! Fahrenheit was developed by a German Scientist and he just chose two measurements that were halfway decent to reproduce. That's all there is to it. Got nothing to do with hospitals.
Why compare it to 40°? Because I know what 40° feels like because I've been living in a civilized country with a civilized measurement system all my life. I can tell you that 65° is too hot, because I make my tea with 70° to 80° hot water. Therefore just before that will probably be too hot for my skin.
In the end, there is no objectively better system when it comes to day to day temperatures. But there is one when it comes to science, reliability and universality and that is Celsius.
All international science uses metric and slowly but surely the resistance amongst US universities melts away and they switch to metric as well. Give it another one or two generations and we'll finally be rid of the outdated and arbitrary imperial system!
Bin inzwischen ehrlich gesagt großer Fan von dieser Aktion. Ohne diese vollkommen idiotische Änderung hätte ich wohl nie mein Netflix gekündigt und dadurch auch nie gemerkt, wie qualitativ hochwertig die neue Generation der Hochsee-Strömungsseiten inzwischen sind. Ernsthaft, man hat mehr Auswahl, Zahlt weniger/nichts und die Qualität bleibt die gleiche. Win-win fur alle außer Netflix!
Der Wahlomat hat auch genug fehler. Der beruht nämlich einzig und alleine auf dem Wahlprogramm der Parteien und grade CXU, AfD und FDP behandeln das eher wie einen Wählerköder als eine tatsächliche Absichtserklärung.

As a DM: Trying to sneak such an idea by me and trying to exploit the world with knowledge that doesn't fit are two surefire ways for you to get that idea blocked completely with no chance to ever use it again.
If you want to introduce that technology to the world, talk to the DM, tell her that you would hate for that idea to be used by the enemy company and work out a way that makes it fun, but not completely game breaking for this to appear.

Another very important factor is that in Germany it's extremely difficult to become the official father of a child when you're not married to the mother. This obviously comes with a lot of problems. For example when the mother suffers complications during birth. It's just way easier to marry instead of doing all of that paperwork.
