I think you are looking at past data points from a political system/politicians that dont bother trying to shape the narrative. I think the real thing I hope the Dems take away from this is just believe in something. The top issue according to polling on February was crime. By election time the entire conversation was about different aspects of cost of living transit ect. The ability for zohrans campaign to focus in and change the entire issue slate. From fake crime panic or some other fake wedge issue to something real is something no politician besides Bernie and zohran have done in my lifetime.

How would the NYC primary looked different if it wasn't ranked choice. I not sure it actually matters for single seat elections. If you don't rank either of the top 2 candidates it's like your vote won't matter anyways.

Im not doubting the veracity of it but the opioids in flour thing with the "humanitarian" aid in Gaza is bizarre. Part of me thinks that the jackbooted mercs were smuggling drugs on the side and mixed up the bags like a bunch of idiots.

Edit. Thinking more w my tinfoil hat. western intelligence agency's/governments might care less about how this new organization is meant to control gazans and just want another black box for laundering money or we. The "charity" is way more opaque than things like the world food program or unwrap.

Humvees and MRAPs, which admittedly are probably not that relevant outside of a COIN context, but if they're getting canceled

The US is replacing both with the jltv they have already manufactured 10k of them?

this one's merely "paused", but the new self-propelled artillery program - the 4th in a row one to not go anywhere

I think Ukraine has shown that very advanced heavy spgs have a lot of problems. The German one had maintenance issues. Guided artillery seems to have been much to costly to justify its limited combat effectiveness.

people who are "really smart" and "know what they are talking about" keep posting about a nato exercise but litterally cannot read the article they are posting that says the 100th air wing **Based in the uk **is going. screaming on the inside reading post after post

the focus on here has ben on impacts in Israel. The Israeli air defense net is more robust, we are not really ingesting a lot of the destruction wrought by Israeli stand off munitions. The damage is isreal is great but I think a certain amount of media diet stuff is playing into how we are seeing the conflict. Maybe im just being doomer

  • I assume they'll start off with just Intelligence support, the flying fuel tankers, things like that

They are doing all of those thing + running sorties to intercept Iranian drones. They also operate early warning radar stations throughout the region that are tracking Iranian ballistic missiles. the us is doing everything besides launching ground attack missions.

Yea that's why I said "more active". I'm not trying top downplay the usa's culpability my bad

Bro what

I keep seeing people cope about Costco bc they "stood up to the anti dei mob" or w/e.

I guess one question I have is are the companies winding down dei initiatives actually changing behavior or renaming and rebranding. Idk enough about inner corporate politics.

I saw this and was reminded that bidens big "most important infrastructure investment ever" was also about 500 billion of new funding over 5 years. Pathetic

Also ai is so fucking dumb how long can they keep this bubble going.
