I personally think it's good that the USA did it back then and I think it's good that China does it now.

I agree it's insignificant, but I understand why westeners are more concerned about DeepSeek than ChatGPT.
ChatGPT applies censorship which westeners are used to; it's the enemy they know.
DeepSeek on the other hand applies censorship in contexts that westeners are not used to see censored. It's a new and unknown type of censorship; and unknown means it's potentially worse.
I assume that, similarly, Chinese people are more comfortable using DeepSeek than ChatGPT.

Am I misreading their comment or is everyone else? The top level comment said "The love of a woman pales in comparison to ...", meaning the love of a woman is less valuable. The gp comment says " clearly you're not married". Since they're arguing against the top level comment, they are arguing against the love of a woman being less valuable. So they're saying the love of a woman is more valuable. So they're saying "wife good".
Basically you use them at points where you'd usually put a period, but you don't want to add as much of a pause.

could also be written as
My wife said she would like tea. Coffee would have been my choice.
but it wouldn't sound as nice.
The world's economies are intertwined now.
Such behaviour will lead to countries decoupling from the USA. Over time, this will lead to the USA having ever less power.
