Anyone have good suggestions on what deserves my money, or the effort of setting up?
I have a Thinkpad x1 nano that I threw Linux on. Not sure if it counts since it came with Windows installed, but Thinkpads have historically done well with Linux support.

I've been having trouble getting syntax highlighting to work on my '```' fenced code blocks. I give it the right/supported language identifier, but nothing changes.
I'm using neovim with a bunch of lsp plugins and treesitter. Anyone have dotfiles with markdown code syntax highlighting working?

That's unfair, your dentist caused harm to you during your procedure because they were (I'm assuming here and making connections to try and stand up for you. You gotta fill in some of the blanks here) unable to plan accordingly for your crown.
You had a traumatic experience due to something that wasn't your fault and it sounds like the dentist is likely unaware of how you felt. Did you speak up and let them know that you were in an amount of pain that you were having trouble dealing with during the procedure?
I think I share the sentiment with a majority of the responses from my fellow tech workers: fuck yeah, they deserve it. Those people are out in the elements (mind you during record breaking heat waves).
They deserve every dollar of that 170k and more as I sit in an air conditioned room pushing pixels

I almost feel like this is basically Fridays at my place of work. Since it's not formalized that means I don't have to worry about anyone looking to adjust my salary or PTO or whatever corporate america would do to validate the savings of a 4 day work week. Selfishly I like where it's at, but I do think overall the 4 day work week would benefit us all as long as pay doesn't decrease
My brother/sister/person, I understand the frustration but let's not be hostile out here. Honestly I don't know that every lemmy app has a good intuitive search function inside of a community, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt.
