Oh wow! I don't remember this one. It might be time to get the collection out. Or better yet I should go get that new book he just published. Hope everybody has a decent if not survivable day.

A little temporal shifting and Pike is a deer in headlights. Sisko was a god before breakfast and still raised a kid single. We don't even wanna see the Pike from Mirror world. *shudders
What a powerfully subtle piece. I can see Zelda mourning the separation that Link's artificial slumber has created. It could also be interpreted as a game over screen (Zelda mourning over the actual death of her knight), or the stress that she feels imagining this possibility after feeling the need to ask them to put themselves into mortal peril time and time again.
