Both my current and previous psych wanted to check heart rate and blood pressure every time I saw them (every 1 or 2 months) so yearly seems really infrequent to me. Maybe it's an Adderall vs Vyvanse thing?
I'd say cutting out the caffeine is a good start, can also try altering diet and adding some exercise to your routine to help as well, which is generally helpful for ADHDers anyway with mitigating some symptoms. Good luck!
