and are these exploited people doing anything to change this? the consumer is the last between the three (employer, worker, consumer) that should have anger directed towards them

as it's their issue its their soapbox not mine, this annoying custom made it to country where they are paid enough as well

if:
a. a person "has" to rely on other people to tip them
b. said person goes "hungry" if a single person/table doesn't tip them

you.. uh... have other issues to think about

I'd say majority of the people on here are going to go back to reddit and this is just virtue signaling honestly
I already see a lot of these "lemmy says fuck you" on reddit

So if anybody wants a solution they won't have to scour the internet for what are essentially the same uses over and over again

Here's a short list I made through searching this sub and other threads+articles:
#WARNING: Keeping your phone constantly plugged into the charger for long periods of time may cause the battery to swell up and potentially explode
#WARNING: Keeping the screen on constantly on a phone with an OLED screen will likely cause burn-in eventually

Keep it as a backup phone
Dedicated camera
Dedicated music player (especially LG phones with qDAC)
Baby/pet monitor
Use it as a smart doorbell
Use it to record POVs akin to GoPros
Smart Home controller
Bedside alarm clock
Universal remote
Remote PC controller
Help science by lending your phones power for research
Dedicated eReader
Dedicated gaming machine
Webcam
Dedicated car phone for GPS etc
Dashcam
Digital photo frame
Education tool for kids
Video call device
Wifi extender/hotspot
Host a media server on it (Plex etc)
Host a normal server on it (c. /u/3Werve)
Timelapse camera
Give it to kids
PC Statistics (CPU, GPU usage)
Wireless adapter for wired controllers
Kitchen recipe guide
PC Monitor
Macro pad for PC
White noise machine
Disassemble and make an art piece out of it
Experimentation (e.g trying out apps or ROMs)
Dedicated chat device (Whatsapp, Telegram etc) (c. /u/utakatikmobil)
Cast Receiver (c. /u/Substantial_Berry_14)
m3u IPTV player (c. Substantial_Berry_14)

###No uses fit you?

Donate it
Recycle it
Sell it

I may link to examples or guides but for now im a bit too lazy. Googling should be enough, if not add site:reddit.com to the end of your query

From what I understood a user from your instance needs to subscribe to a community in order for communities to sync with your instance

Reposting from Lemmy Support@lemmy.ml since i didn't get any replies

Is this a limitation of my instance (feddit.de)?

I tried through URL (feddit.de/c/community@instance) and through feddits search function (!community@instance) What I described happens with the former; with the latter the community is not found

Also, I assume it would be for lemmy as a whole and not just my instance right?

I think having an option for posts to have tags would be neat and make it easier to find more fitting posts since the title won't always have the word you're looking for.

I'd say at least a good chunk of third party app users would eventually figure out about Revanced

My main issue is all the useful information that might be gone with a decent chunk of people editing and removing their comments or even subreddits going private
Otherwise, I got perma-banned from Reddit for commenting the navy seal copypasta in a thread where people were clearly sarcastic so I don't care

You can probably just google or ask and eventually you'll remember (if you want to go a step ahead turn it all into flashcards on something like anki i guess)
