Was the video not about why he is not worried about the election?

Your friends respecting you matters.

Sorry I meant simple to use. Repair and maintenance is very complex. You often can not even do some maintenance since you need specialized tools or software that only mechanics have access to.

Since you mentioned cars, here is a theory my coworker told me that I think makes a lot of sense.

Our parents were the last generation to learn about cars because back then you needed to know how a car worked in order to own one. Cars are too simple now and you couldn't fix one even if you wanted to since they are so locked-down.

We are the last generation to learn how computers work since we needed to know how a computer worked in order to use it. Now computers are too simple to use and you couldn't fix one even if you wanted to since they are so locked-down.

Obviously not saying nobody today knows how cars or computers work, but it is a lot less common. Anybody who learns about cars or computers today do it because of personal interest, not because of necessity.

The screenshot says this violated rule 4 or the sitewide rules:

Rule 4

Do not share or encourage the sharing of sexual, abusive, or suggestive content involving minors. Any predatory or inappropriate behavior involving a minor is also strictly prohibited.

At my job we write everything in english. Code comments, variable names, review comments. Everything. It's just to make everything readable to people who don't know our language because some people in the office are from other countries.

One season per book seems to be what usually works best. That's why I think a Harry potter tv show of 7 seasons would be cool

I'll start. My girlfriend's cat never purrs or does the "baking biscuits" thing even when he is clearly enjoying the cuddles.

Since you are moving to Denmark: flee! Take a car and drive north to seek refuge in Sweden. Once you make it there you are safe, but you never know, the Danes could invade any minute. Keep driving north until you start seeing reindeer walking around like they own the place. Move into a cabin in the woods and never look back. The Danes can't reach you there.

I don't know when this started but I noticed it for the first time a few months ago. Some podcasts will have preroll ads that are obviously tailored to me since they are not in the same language as the podcast, instead they are in my native language and if I connect to a VPN in another country the ad will change to one from that country. They also seem to appear regardless of podcast app. I have used both AntennaPod and Spotify. AntennaPod is free so I guess they source their podcasts from some third party website that could be adding in the ads. But since I am paying for Spotify I am expecting not to have to listen to any ads. So who is adding in these ads? Can I get rid of them or am I just stuck with them?

I heard Beehaw defederated from Lemmy.world among others, but recently I have been seeing content from beehaw communities and users. Did they re-federate? If so, why? And if not, why am seeing updates from their servers again?
