Yes and I believe I once saw an old recording of the guys from Alice In Chains doing like a live broadcast there for MTV. Pretty sure it was an episode of Headbangers Ball.

After looking at the sauces they use, they are definitely exaggerating. I get Rao's sometimes, it is really good. And more spendy but like 8.99 a jar and you get a fuck ton of it.

why did this play out like the most bitchin suspense thriller in my mind just now?

[–] cubedsteaks 4 points 1 year ago

Big agree. I hate that I have to block news communities to get them out of my feed. I never subscribed to them.

I wish I had that rule back when I had roommates, one of which would constantly beg their wife to get delivery. It always caused arguments and would hold things up too much.

Totally agree.

yeah those are always fun to see!

I went to a bar recently that did a 90's trivia night and in between the rounds they showed some retro commercials.

I guess I'm a new one lol

I have VHS recordings that have ads still in them and its like my prized possession. I love those recordings.

Also, I want to prevent myself from being influenced by outside sources

I guess I am a special case in this way because I grew up in a religion that basically forced me to learn how to block out something so it doesn't influence me one way or the other. I had go for 7 years blocking out religious garbage in my face so I am just use to looking at something, and not being influenced by it.

But most people don't have that so no wonder its so invasive for them.

I also don't get modern Family Guy hate but whatever. To each their own.

Yeah, that's why I have a bunch of VHS recordings from the 90's. They're like little time capsules and the ad's of the time are telling of the events at the time.

Ads are never "blaring" at me. I control the volume on my tv.
