Get some plants. Having some green living things in the house feels nice. Even if you don't have a green thumb, something like a peace lily is dead simple to care for.

I love doing chili in a slow cooker, throw everything together in the morning and put it on low, it'll be ready by dinner. Chili is one of those things that's better the longer it cooks, and better the next day. A few other ingredients that I love to add:
- chipotles in adobo sauce (get rid of the seeds if you want less heat, but these will make it spicier regardless)
- chocolate (I just throw in some chocolate chips, a little sugar doesn't hurt things)
- MSG (great way to add some more umami, especially if you're going vegan. Just be careful not to overdo it)
I remember my discrete math professor getting to Aleph Numbers and thinking "My God, it finally happened! THEY RAN OUT OF GREEK LETTERS!"
Return of the Obra Dinn is also good for this

The remake. While I do think it pushed the art too far in the direction of "generic mario", there are so many other things better about the remake:
- updated music is fantastic
- lots of QoL improvements, like better item management and mechanics that make battles go faster
- Updated localization, mostly for the better (though I do miss Mallow telling Mario "who do you think you are, Bruce Lee!?")
I've seen a small business where the owner was Chinese add eighty-eight cents to every price, I figured it was just an "eight is a lucky number, especially for money" thing. The fact that there are so many other 8's here makes me wonder if it's something like that.
I would honestly find it more if it was JUST 1488 and all the other prices were normal.
Yup, this is how I use it. Left trigger is Z, Right trigger doesn't exist in N64 so it becomes a context button to turn ABXY into the appropriate C buttons. Right stick is also C for games where the C buttons work like a camera. Using the context button takes a bit of learning, but I like that this approach leaves buttons in roughly the same place (i.e. not mapping any face buttons to shoulders or triggers)
It was from Weird Al's UHF.
