I'm also a cracker in my 30s and still role the dice with neck cracks, but sometimes I chase the dragon too long and end up hurting myself :/

Am I tripping or is she somehow able to poop without taking her shorts or underwear off? It's hard to make out

I agree. Right now this community seems to be mostly r/popularopinions moreso than true shower thoughts.

At least 700 airstrikes/bombings ago I'd say

"First and foremost, I know -- as a former federal prosecutor and as a defense lawyer for decades – that a person who is a judge, who has a residence who has no problem being found, should not be arrested, if you will, like some common criminal,” Gimbel said. “And I'm shocked and surprised that the US Attorney's office or the FBI would not have invited her to show up and accept process if they're going to charge her with a crime."

The cruelty is the point

KDE's System Settings is way more streamlined and intuitive than even the new macOS Ventura/Sequoia System Settings, though. I'm one of the people critical of the new macOS System Settings, even though I think it is a step in the right direction and agree it makes sense to make it similar to the iOS settings app for consistency's sake. Imusing it feels like the Apple developers didn't really put much thought into how and where various settings should be accessed, imo.

Great times were had! ✊

Hope to see you there! ✊

Hello all, can anyone help me figure out what permissions/ownership settings and/or configuration changes I need to make to fix logrotate.service on my Fedora 41 host?

Here is what journalctl reports: https://pastebin.com/Hp31DJEX

It seems like the permission for /var/log/samba/ and /var/log/sshd/ might be messed up? I am struggling to find what the right ownership/permissions for these directories and files should be.

Additionally, when I look in /var/log/ I see many different log files for the same services:

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? When I go to my profile and tap the big middle comments button at the top, it takes me to my posts instead of my comments

Hey all, I recently wound up with duplicate GRUB entries for my Garuda install. The second entry is the same installation as the top one. How can I remove the duplicate? Should I edit the grub config file?

Minnesota restaurants are grappling with how to adapt to a new state law that will ban them from adding fees to customers' checks.

Why it matters: The so-called junk fees law begins Jan. 1 and prevents businesses from tacking on all kinds of charges at the end of a transaction.

The one most people will quickly notice is at restaurants, where adding a 3%-5% health and wellness fee has become common in the Twin Cities.

The new law allows restaurants to add an automatic gratuity, but it must be clearly labeled and go to the wait staff. It also allows taxes, shipping and delivery charges to be added.

State of play: California this year became the first state to ban junk fees, but Gov. Gavin Newsom exempted restaurants at the 11th hour. That means Minnesota will be the first state to ban restaurant fees.

DFL backers say the measure provides price transparency and allows consumers to make informed decisions by seeing the total cost of a good or service upfront.

The intrigue: Restaurant owners told Axios they are faced with this question: Do they eat the lost revenue or increase menu prices during the dead of winter, when dining slows in Minnesota?

Restaurateur David Fhima (Maison Margaux, Fhima's and Mother Dough Bakery) said he hasn't decided what to do. He uses a 5% fee to help pay for employees' health insurance, which he said is set to rise 40% this year.

What they're saying: Fhima agrees with banning hidden fees, but said they're labeled on restaurant menus ahead of time, unlike, for example, fees for hotel resorts or concert tickets.

Kim Bartmann (Barbette, Pat's Tap, Book Club and others) said she was the local first restaurant operator to offer health care to employees back in 1993. Her costs have risen at least 10% a year, she said, but more like 20%-30% most years.

She's planning to raise menu prices.

Larkin Hoffman attorney Matthew Bergeron, who advises operators, said he expects most restaurants to do the same, but many of them will communicate to customers that the increased prices are to cover benefits for their employees.

Friction point: Big questions remain about catering and banquets. Typically, customers sign a contract that includes several fees, but operators don't know if they can add those to the bill afterward — even though they were agreed on up front, said Angie Whitcomb, CEO of Hospitality Minnesota.

Whitcomb said her organization is going to be asking for changes to the Minnesota law once the Legislative session begins Jan. 14.

What we're watching: How customers perceive menu price hikes at restaurants that have removed fees.

A $15 cheeseburger will still cost $15, but the menu won't say it's $14.25.

“America demanded it and now it’s happening: Taco Bell’s new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. In other news, I’m hosting the Oscars,” said O’Brien in the announcement from the Academy."

Hello fabulous fellow keeb enthusiasts! I have this really cool custom split ergo keyboard called a Dark Matter, and I think only 10 or so were made. I love typing on it, but I'm getting double inputs and the LEDs on the left side only work intermittently. Do you have any suggestions on how I could try to fix those issues? Do you think I need to resolder both PCBs entirely, just certain key switches, and/or all the LEDs? Reseating its teensy controllers did not fix the issue, for example.

Unfortunately the person who made these is not providing support for them so I'm on my own on this one.

Here's a reddit post I made 5 years ago when I first ran into these issues:

I'd appreciate any advice you can offer, thanks so much!

Hello all! I wanted to briefly share my experience modding my Steam Deck OLED, should it be of use for anyone else!

Here are the pics

It seems like most replacement button sets are fully compatible with the Steam Deck OLED, except for the triggers/shoulder buttons and replacement trackpad covers. The shells are compatible but I did not want to remove my screen + adhesive to do the front shell, so I just did the back. I did have to trim the silicone piece that the volume buttons connect to to get it to fit.

The gulikit hall effect joysticks that specifically mention Steam Deck OLED compatibility were easy to install and calibrate by running thumbstick_cal in desktop mode, and whether it is just placebo or not, they definitely feel more precise than stock!

I did not do extensive before/after thermal testing, since many people have done that before. I did repaste the APU with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme as well since I had to remove the heatsink to get access to replace the power button

Here are the products I used:

Joysticks

Hello all!

I haven't followed the Switch homebrewing scene for several years, and could use some help! I have a v1 Nintendo Switch that I originally homebrewed using SXOS + SXOS Pro dongle. I know that SXOS is dead now, so I'm looking to update my setup to the current Switch homebrew platform. Is that Atmosphere? What is the recommended path for updating my homebrew setup? Can I still use my SXOS pro dongle with the new setup to launch custom firmware?

I came across this guide for example, is this still up-to-date?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! :)
