I think it's a somewhat common side effect that usually goes away. I also get tension-like headaches from time to time, but I've always been like that.
Adhering to the routine of meds really helps, but ya know lol. I'd just mention the side effect and obviously look into it if it gets worse. I only had a few days of that at first with focalin, I imagine Adderall would be similar.
I don't know about permanently, but that was my experience back when I did more psychedelics. It doesn't generally happen to me anymore except getting really high can be reminiscent of a trip every once in a while.
We would always joke about acid flashbacks and spinal fluid, but I'm more convinced it's just the previous experience coloring my perception.
I also loved smoking a bit for the comedown of acid. It can really catapult you back into it, but with the added chillness of the comedown. That experience in itself could be part of it when smoking later for me. But still, nothing has really stuck years later.
