My motherboard legit does this. Though it's probably more so it's an industrial one with like 8 SATA ports than anything else.

I read this in the Control Hiss voice internally in mind. From the hit video game Control from Remedy. That no one outside the internet has played.

Yeah I already know about this. Also as a long time prime subscriber we have had ads longer than you'd expect. It first started as ads for Amazon products and also previews for other Amazon shows. It doesn't surprise me that there are pause screen ads now like other streaming services.

This is why I switched to K-9 Mail instead of using GMail because borderline Google was legitimately serving malware not just McAfee which isn't malware. Since it allows me to have my Gmail and other email accounts in it all at the same time instead of a dedicated app filled with ads leading to real malware.

I think you can configure systemd to force shutdown such things in like 2 seconds which is the only way I can shut down my Thinkpad running Debian 12.

Yes but most people aren't doing this unless they are insane and finding these libraries is borderline impossible and I personally in my search have found a bunch of dead links for them. So no Linux isn't backwards compatible to me and never will be backwards compatible because it fundamentally can't be because even libc and it's changes have broken stuff in the past with some Steam Linux native games I was trying to run.

I think it depends on the game because I've cracked games and still had their achievements work for steam.
