Haven't been on one in years, but women would put "guys over x height only" in their dating app profiles. I saw it as an advertisement that those particular women were very insecure and should probably be avoided, but it was a significant number of them nonetheless.

This is the part a lot of US liberals are missing. Those red states are shit holes now. Look bombed out and war torn because industry left and took the money with them, and they were thriving 40 years ago.
A wiser human than me could probably find a way to incentivise companies moving headquarters out of high cost of living areas to more rural areas where rent isn't half your paycheck.
I work in the fashion retail industry. We had cancelled half of fall holiday orders and increase MSRP on a bunch of other stuff. This is only the tip of the iceberg for issues that will compound.
This is about to make COVID shortages seem aspirational.
My experience is that there's always a hidden surcharge with DD or Uber eats. Like fries are $3 if you call it in yourself, but are $3.30 or something in an app. A couple years ago I had a $10 off $40 coupon and dash pass from my credit card. Total after fees for pickup was like $55 and just calling it in myself was $45.
Not saying it's impossible to save using them, but good luck.

What's sad is like half of the country is basically still asleep at the wheel and just voting for whatever party they've been voting for and are more informed about celebrities than the constitutional crisis occurring.
They, like most people who voted for Trump were more interested in harming "the opposition" failing to realize 90% of people were the opposition despite Trump saying it loud and proud. As a liberal white millionaire I am still confused and concerned at how many idiots I am trying to lift up are encasing their feet in concrete, and a little voice says "maybe it's their nature and you should give them what they ask for."

Anytime a person from a red state complains about California being communist, remind them their roads are paved with money from CA because their state collects welfare from the fed who collects it from Blue states
Let's just give them the capitalism they say they want. We're sending Red states a far larger amount of federal funds than they send in (I believe the stat is red states average $2 received for every dollar sent and it's like 70¢ for every dollar sent is returned to blue states.

At this point nearly any device with a screen can emulate SNES games and the consoles that came before it. I have a cheap Chinese retro game handheld from Ali Express and it's honestly so refreshing to play games that aren't begging me to spend extra money.
Also, playing fan translations of games that weren't released in the west like mother 3 and dragon quest monsters is so cool. 10 year old me would be so jealous.
