Kosovo and Iraq want a word, the US has literally never not been involved in a war in some capacity.

Media critique and enjoyment are separate things; I have ideological-communist perspective criticisms of things I would give a 10/10 (breaking bad, better call saul, the wire are all inherently conservative and reactionary pieces of media for example)

Thats why I would separate the two during online conversation as well, no ones wrong for enjoying things and ideology is just something to think about when discussing the abstract and circumstances of art rather than how it made you feel.

On a long term social democracy has proven to have enough structural issues to eventually run into issues with counter-revolutionaries, and with the narco state that is present (they use american weapons) her position still isnt very secure from assassination.

I support her though of course, rather have a trot than some libshit in power.

The efficancy in putting through marxist tinged stuff that actually works will build a positive relationship with marxism and socialism amongst the people of mexico as well.

Cal-fire will hire them directly out of prison

No, they wont. They will give them the right to apply their is no guaranteed job at the end of it.

Inmates makeup 30% of the fire service in Cali; what a fun way to cut salary costs, hire slaves.

'The slaves that joined the gladiator arena to fight for their freedom actually WANT to be there dont you understand?, They give the gladiators valuable skills, nicer jail cells. I had a friend that spent 3 years as a gladiator and he actually preferred it to being a slave'

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067633/

In this fictional documentary, U.S. prisons are at capacity, and President Nixon declares a state of emergency. All new prisoners, most of whom are connected to the antiwar movement, are now given the choice of jail time or spending three days in Punishment Park, where they will be hunted for sport by federal authorities. The prisoners invariably choose the latter option, but learn that, between the desert heat and the brutal police officers, their chances of survival are slim.

critical support to comrade fire my only thoughts of sympathy are with the slaves the liberal cracker class are using to fight this fire, some of who have already died.

Genuinely fuck the prison-slave-fire fighting industry in Cali; it exposes liberal-left tolerance for modern slavery.

The cruelty of dangling early freedom in front of the largest prison population on earth to protect petite-bougie-bougie interests in exchange for a slave contract that has above 50% mortality rate; often times when they get released early they cant even work in Cali due to being ex-convicts lmao. (failed state)

And the worst part is that one day very soon, this technology is going to used to start making videos of people commiting crimes. Sickos have already used it to homemake CP

If it helps frame this, those same sicko's where already doing this through stuff like photoshop and the like, its not really creating new creeps, just lowering the effort > outcome of it all.

It’s very obvious that this problem is only going to escalate, millions of people are calling for regulation or rules, but the scumbags engineering the tech remain anonymous and completely unhindered in their efforts.

Yeah whats going to happen IMO is that companies will hollow out creatives gradually by firing them/letting them go when AI advances to the stage that it can recreate the labor they would be doing to create the same product. HOWEVER what I think will happen as a consequence of this is that....the products will just be shit and no one will buy or care about them, and the companies will collapse as the shareholders/AI grifters escape with all of the surplus labor value.

You gotta remember the inherent restrictions AI generative stuff actually has; it cannot by function make a 'new' work of art, just regurgitate previous works of art and reshape them slightly. Truely 'new' art will not come from AI, and that will be the value artists will retain, as that requires abstractions, and more importantly; human experience to create.

Fundamentally all art is a story about a human being, no AI is ever going to make me shed a tear.
