Yep, for that reason I'm blocking bots individually. Ideally they'd give repost bots a separate identifier to block them specifically, but that requires the bot-dev to denominate them explicitly. Doubt many would do that.

Apparently as a Wisconsin resident you can select "login with zip code", but that fails for me (don't live there and my vpn doesn't have an endpoint there either, so might be an issue on my end).

With lower res movies, games, photos and static UI, you can't spot it anyway.

Depends, is OxygenOS considered custom? I'm running a rooted and largely (manually) degoogled stock version.
I did, at some point settings got lost between updates and then a later version crashed on startup, that's when I switched.

You can install regular browser addons there, including ghostery, uBlock origins, and consent-o-matic.
For Android the same is also possible with kiwi browser and Fennec (without any nightlies) but those I know for a fact aren't available on iOS.
