People just love reading and therefore clicking stories that tell them that electric cars are bad and they should just continue buying gas powered vehicles instead of considering a change

Same as with that tanker that burned out on the coast of the Netherlands with some EVs on board

A lot of stories where covering it in a way that implied the fire was because of those EVs when in the end the level where they were stored was among the very few that was still intact - but that didn't make the news...

Brain drain finally showing itself

Most of the creative and ambitious people left the GDR when the wall came down.

I heard a theory recently from someone that was part of the peaceful revolution in Leipzig and now thinks that many people actually didn't mind the government telling them what to do and then not really having a choice in the matter and being under constant surveillance as long as they had a decent life. And that the protests in hindsight probably were more about them seeing how much better the life in the west was than about the personal and political freedom since the GDR apparently did a pretty good job to get rid of those concepts (at least for many citizens).

Now those same people are again voting only for their personal gains and not for freedom for everyone to live however they want as that was never in their interest to begin with

"Genocide Joe" seems like the perfect republican plot to make people abstain from voting because the deliberately leave out how Trump would make matters 100 times worse.

Biden is constantly challenging Netanyahu while Trump would deliberately hand them a full and permanent occupation of Palestine on a silver plate.

People already forgot that it was trump who moved the embassy to Jerusalem basically destroying the USAs support for a two state solution?

Also observe how those "replacement in race" people are completely silent on the 3 body problem show that made pretty much all of the Chinese characters from the book into westerners

Ich frag mich manchmal echt ob Leute wie Söder, Hubsi oder sogar die ganze "gemäßigte" AFD Clique den Quatsch den sie da erzählen wirklich glauben oder tatsächlich verstehen dass die Sachverhalte nicht so simpel sind aber es trotzdem auf populistische Parolen herunterbrechen aus reiner Machtgier weil man damit halt ausreichend Idioten Angeln kann.

Ich habe irgendwie ein bisschen Mitleid mit den Politikern die da wirklich dran glauben aber einfach nur Verachtung für die die es besser wissen und sehenden Auges zum eigenen Profit Feuer an die Basis unserer Demokratie legen indem sie den konstruktiven Diskurs vergiften

They don't want it to work well. The worse the situation is for the average citizen the easier they are to be influenced by propaganda as most people tend to look for a strong leader in times of need.

A previous spokesman of the AfD is on record saying that "the worse the situation for Germany the better it is for the AfD"...

Is he outspoken anti-gay? Then it's pretty likely to be his boyfriend with how every accusation is a confession with conservatives these days...
