Neither the MacTrast nor the original 9to5 article discusses the security behind Apple's iOS implementation. But we know all firmware packages are signed and I would imagine this would be no different, with the recovery partition OS performing a check of the signature.

Absolutely, DRM is bullshit. Even Apple stopped using it - and not just for iTunes but also for streaming downloads.

Not gonna lie, not digging that branding. "Apple ID" just rolls off the tongue better.

Search "samsung employees swallow evidence"

Fun times.

A long time coming.

If you've been looking for a reason to upgrade your AirPods, Apple hasn't really given you any for a while.

Thankfully, Apple could finally be gearing up to introduce new models to its earbud lineup.

In the latest issue of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that Apple has seemingly walked back some of the changes made to Photos.

Suggesting the redesign was "probably a little too bold and potentially confusing", Gurman said the most recent beta version of iOS 18 has removed the new carousel feature.

Apple updated its Apple Maps on the web feature to add support for the Firefox browser this week. Firefox users on Mac, PC, and iPad can now visit Apple Maps on the web, and the site works as intended.

I accidentally picked too large a cup size and realized I have no idea how to stop the brew. I remember this happening once at an office Keurig and we just opened the lid making a hot mess everywhere. Is there really no way of emergency stopping the brew?
