I just saw one of my cousins for the first time in like a decade. His mom ditched her shitty abusive husband and they seem like they've been doing well. There's six of them and he's the only one that showed up.
I actually haven't seen any of them since we were all pre-teens and we were just a bunch of miserable kids in shitty situations hanging out together, I hope they're alright too.

There's a popular cafe called Winkel 43 that serves the best apple pie ever if you're in the Jordaan district. It's a cute little spot for a breakfast date if it isn't too crowded.
Its also short distance from the Anne Frank house if you're interested. I don't remember exactly, but I think you can reserve a time for a tour. The line can be up to like a two hour wait in the summertime otherwise.
