Yes... but... this becomes one of those things that everyone should buy to be prepared but few actually do or they forget.
I keep a little crank-chargeable radio in our emergency kit but most people don't. If the cell networks go down (and they usually do in severe weather and most other big emergency situations) most people will lose all of their access to information.
I wholeheartedly agree, but I don't think there's any saving it at this point. Car manufacturers are dropping it from new models and that's the only actual AM/FM radio most people actually buy these days.
Same thing happened to the phone network. It used to actually be possible to call 911 when the power was out. The central stations all had battery banks and diesel generators. Unless the lines were cut, you had service.

The Universe probably wouldn't fit in a sphere of any size and it very well may be infinite.
But looking at a very large spherical region like the visible universe from our perspective here on Earth, everything is moving away from us. If objects were being pulled towards one particular edge of our imaginary sphere, it would look very different. We'd see a clear drift in that direction, but it all looks pretty even across every direction we look.

That seems a tall order given his long history of biting the Dem's hands every time they reach out. This is a problem of his party's own making and stems from not honoring their earlier agreements around the debt ceiling.
Besides, they can't agree to something he hasn't (and won't) ask for.
They claim to be, but it's been a lot more talk than action over the past few decades. That's why Trump picked up so much blue collar support. He didn't do anything for them either, but he spoke to their anger.
What he believes in his heart has nothing to do with the crimes he's been charged with. He interfered with official processes and concocted a scheme to submit a state of false electors. Believing he was doing what was right has nothing to do with the legality of the charges.

I don't know what this committee thinks it can accomplish that the fediverse hasn't already picked up the torch on, but power to them. The less centralized and more diverse the Internet is, the better.
