They can give up their ill-gotten gains if they do not want to be targeted.

Finally, let people live their lives, and maybe git gud. It kinda sounds like you just suck, and are salty about it.

God forbid anyone be critical of a thing you like, lol.

Why do so many of you throw tantrums over this? Grow up. It's just a game.

I'm also going to ignore you now. Bye.

[–] mesitoispro@ttrpg.network 2 points 4 hours ago

Not really.

I am going to ignore you now. People like you are insufferable.

Rich people are breeding you out of the gene pool.

Yes.

Instinctual desire to carry on my lineage

It could be an issue with that particular program.

Fuck. Israel has so much goddamn fucking money and the United States still hands out billions of dollars every year to them.

If any of you are struggling in the US, your government would rather help Zionists commit genocide than make sure you have a roof over your head.

Depending on your understanding, the concept of god can be very real.

It's not a uniform idea across cultures and beliefs.

I'm cheering for the destruction of the Zionist regime just like I'd cheer for the destruction of the Nazi regime.

Good hit. Let's see more.

It's a good thing we aren't limited to just one lemmy instance or the rules of a few power-trippers.

I personally think 3 is peak, and I'm probably not alone in that.

It seems like it aligns the most with what the 'core' idea of Devil May Cry should be. There aren't really gimmicks. There isn't bad design. It's simple, but done well.

The rest of the games in the series? They all leave a lot to be desired.

I'd say the first one comes the closest to reaching DMC3's heights.

Devil May Cry 2 is well, you know.

4 starts off phenomenally, but then it turns out to only be half a game. I will never forgive them for that backtracking bullshit. It should always be a stain on everyone's criticism of the game.

I've only played a little bit of 5, but I wasn't too impressed. It's certainly not bad, but I don't think it comes close to reaching the level of DMC3. Switching characters honestly isn't that great, because odds are I will prefer to play as a certain character which makes playing as others a chore.

So... what's left? Looking at it in retrospect under a critical lens makes me think that most games in the series just aren't that great. They're certainly not bad, but not something I can replay expecting them to be consistent with the best in the series.

Compared to something like God of War, where some may argue all of the games are spectacular, Devil May Cry falls woefully short.

It looks like they're speedrunning to the finish line to get things over with as quickly as possible.

Since nothing is going to stand in their way, how can we make sure they are held accountable for generations to come?

Maybe we can have a day of remembrance for the Palestinians.

I'm afraid that once Israel has completed their genocide, the media cycle and influencers will ensure its never spoken about again.

How do we keep it fresh in people's minds until the perpetrators and/or their offspring face justice?

There's an idea among rulers of the past that their control was necessary and even better for the population than something closer to democracy.

It goes hand-in-hand with using religion as a tool to keep people ignorant and discourage them from learning about the world.

Now that it's pretty clear which side won and we're living in the aftermath, do you think it's an improvement?

Part of me believes that we're progressing way faster than we're evolving and nobody is able to keep up with how fast things are changing around them. It seems like the forbidden fruit of knowledge is giving us problems instead of only solving them.

When looking for nutritional information, 2 ~~doctors~~ guys always show up in Youtube searches: KenDBerryMD and Dr. Eric Berg.

I don't know much about either, but a cursory search shows Berg is a quack and it looks like Ken promotes nonsense like the carnivore diet.

Why are these two so prevalent on youtube? Neither of them are actual nutritionists, but they're everywhere when searching for nutrition information.

Where are the real nutritionists? Why aren't they putting forth more effort to make sure nutrition knowledge is accessible and accurate?

Part of me is genuinely thinking it's because of money. They'd rather only share their knowledge in secret with the people paying them because if more people knew about nutrition, then they wouldn't be as necessary.

It always seemed like a kiddie game that's not meant to be taken seriously, but apparently a bunch of people in their 20s and 30s take it very seriously.

Why? Isn't it pretty much random and unfair by design?

Do people really get hours of fun out of losing races due to catch-up mechanics?

To clarify, I'm talking about people seeking refuge because of bad conditions in their current nation.

Instead of being accepted into a neighboring country, they are blocked at the borders and left to be killed or worse by the people they're trying to flee from.

Are there any cases of this happening?
