I think it's hard to describe why we don't like something. I think part of it is because of the annoying personalities. But they won't be annoying to you, or you would have picked up on it by now.

I think most people seem to like the show. It's doing better than Picard I think, which was also crap in my opinion.

I did like the Orville though, because it did have some actually funny scenes and decent stories.

"Trust us, we are Google".

Yes. Yes you are... The filth of the web.

And every time these companies remove freedom they do it under the guise of protecting users.

I want to like this show but the characters are just so lame.

I grew up with Star Trek New Generation and captain Picard was just great. But these guys all feel like really bad actors.

I found myself wanting them to stop talking or get killed in the show. They are so triggering bad. Nobody else feels like that?

I game in 120hz on a 30 inch 4k screen. Are you on Wayland? Xorg is old and have issues. Also avoid Nvidia at all costs. Get amd.

This is why we can't stand windows. Everything is laggy and filled with ads. Wtf. :)

Actually phoenix showed that the zen kernel has slim to no advantage compared to the vanilla kernel for gaming. But I use it anyway because it's not worse.

Always happy to see another user join the ranks of gamers on Linux. I've been gaming for years now since proton came. The fact that it's just a checkbox in steam to use proton is fantastic.

There should be. What graphics card dom you have? Usually these issues are caused by using Nvidia since they don't care about Linux and the driver is closed source.

It's alarming because arstechnica wants those sweet ad revenues.

Sure but I just assume that's not the case... :) But let's see.

I doubt it's only pacman. Try downloading something with wget for example. It should also be slow then.

Haha no problem. :) It's a great distro. And you know the old joke...

  • How do you know someone is using arch?
  • They will tell you.

:)
