Yeah it's Kramers first name in the TV show Seinfeld. Just fun trivia.

Yeah Elon could learn something here. It seems Zucks ego is smaller than Musks actually since Zuck doesn't post random shit to Twitter for attention.

But he is still an awful human being.

The instance is known by its domain name in the federation network. If that domain name changes, it's like starting a new instance from scratch.

Sounds like a complicated project to migrate communities and posts and users to a new instance without breaking something.

No, absolutely not dumb at all. I have tried almost all Linux distros myself over the years, and ran them for a while. It's fun. And maybe you like this one and stick with it.

Either way you will learn new things just by trying it.

Can you share some ideas for programming projects? I have time but no ideas.

If beginner, use PopOS.

If Linux nerd, use Arch.

That's my guide. I don't like any other distros. :)

It's saying a whole lot about the so called leadership team at reddit. This language is infuriating.

They are so full of themselves. They are absolutely not demonstrating leadership capabilities either. This is just some guy trying to push his own agenda instead of listening and understanding. I don't think they are capable of understanding, or they can't hide their contempt for the people doing all the work moderating their site for them for free.

I'm sorry but you are not acting emotionally stable here. There are many things you are saying that obviously have been painful experiences in your life, but they have made you wrongfully interpret things people are saying. You have no idea who I am but your comments show you are visualizing someone who have hurt you before I guess.

Anyway let's move on in other posts. Have a good day.

I'm sure there are exceptions like in your case. But in general yes, boys are born physically stronger. Your insults won't change those facts. But you know, you can have your own beliefs. That's the great thing about life. If you want to believe that females are physically stronger, or that there is no difference between men and females physical strength, you can do that.

You are acting quite immature with your insults here. If you can't even talk about these things without getting upset, maybe you are not completely objective here. Give it some thought.

Well of course. Lemmy is not censored like the other social media platforms so you will get to hear what people actually think here.

A lot of people feel uncomfortable around gay and trans people. It will take time.

Neovim. I work in devops so it's terraform, ansible and aws cli right now... No need to compile anything or build anything. It's quite nice and simple. :)

The ability to do everything with shortcuts and no mouse means i get into a certain flow feeling that is really nice. When I need to web search, I use the mouse however. I don't like the vim like plugins for the browser. The mouse is way faster there.
