I am not speaking about her personally but about many people on the revolutionary left who stay on there and spend 90 percent of the time complaining about what Elon Musk did or said. There's something wrong with this "politics of negativity", where the very apparent opposition you have to something is what ultimately fuels it. It's ironic in a sense. A post complaining about Elon Musk is ultimately creating money for Elon Musk. The apparent discourse and the latent effect are diametrically opposed.

That's not the same though? We can't stop participating in Capitalism right now. But we can easily stop using Twitter as far as I'm aware. You will not die if you stop using a website. I am not saying don't participate in social media of any kind. I am saying if you can't even stop using a website because it clashes with every value you have, then what chance is there that you'll give up something even greater for the sake of the greater good? Your analogy can be used to justify not making any kind of change ever because it inconveniences us.

It seems that you want a Podcast player and an Audiobook player. I use two different apps for that : AntennaPod for podcasts and Voice for Audiobooks. You can use AntennaPod also for Audiobooks, but I like to separate the two.

But why are they still supporting platforms run by billionaires? It's so easy to talk, theorize and posture as this revolutionary figure. But when it comes down to giving up one single convenience, people freak out. I don't know if I can take these people seriously.

I think it's because if dumb people commenting about every little change of appearance. Sadly we live in one of those places where people comment on these things all the time. They told her she is to thin before now they tell her she gained weight. There's no way to win with them, and sadly usually they are close family members that you can't just avoid.

I think it's due to comments from people. She was underweight before because she hardly ate anything. She's now much better than before but people keep mentioning how she changed. It's really dumb when people keep commenting about your appearance, but I gets to her sometimes. The same people were telling her she needs to gain weight before. ( we are in a developing country where these comments are sadly so normalized)

The ability to defend is part of the power we are speaking of though. That's like saying Israel doesn't have power because if it didn't have power it wouldn't have power. The point stands that because of this ability of defense and superior security, Hamas doesn't do much damage. The same cannot be said of the other side. We are not arguing about Hamas being evil or not, we are arguing about how much damage can they make given the power of Israel. The threat is not existential bu any means.

I never said Hamas is harmless. I merely said that the extent of their harm is so limited. It took a security nightmare for Hamas to actually do any harm, and this was taken as such a huge unexpected tragedy. Don't get me wrong, it is a tragedy but no one is surprised that Israel can push a few bottons and kill thousands of Palestinians so easily. Israel can do in a single day what Hamas would plan for months, or even years. All of this and Israel is good at weaponizing these idle threats of "exterminating Israel". The rockets that Hamas launches barely scratch few people here and there, but it's always so unexpected that you hear about 1 Isreaeli that died while 200 Palestinians is just a routine occurrence. It's a tragedy on both sides as you say, but it is not on the same level.
