Collapse, no. Slow death, yes.

It's okay if ex is okay with it.

I'm angry because I'm actively running out of places to avoid entitled little shits like you and I don't like it.

Maybe time for some introspection? Touch some grass? Internet is what it is. You are expecting it to fit your mould more than me.

Scores aren't but they are used relatively (compared with average)

Why the anger?

I don’t want to be anonymous. I want to know that I am not anonymous.

You are obsessed with me, so I thought you want to be friends.

I am saying it should be made clear. I never said that it not specified anywhere and I can drag them to court for it.

It is not the problem of my instance per se. It is a problem for all instances because everyone has to agree to instance terms but they kind of are agreeing to all instances' terms.

This is not uplifting. This is sign of imminent economic "collapse"

I recently learned that voting on lemmy is not anonymous. Anyone can get information about who has upvoted and downvoted a post or comment.

In combination with your IP, this is a massive privacy (maybe even physical security) risk. Also, people can target you for your votes.

Sadly, this is something where I would prefer Reddit over Lemmy. Big tech scrapes data from both places anyways, at least Reddit is safe.

And omg! I have slept on this feature for so long. I assumed it was just dragging windows to corners and they snap on to the left or right back or top. Then, I installed PopOS and saw an explicit button to turn on windows tiling but I was already using the drag function, so I was confused. I turned it on and omg! I have not felt more stupid and happily surprised by a piece of tech in a while. It just works. I don’t have to be worry about arranging windows a special way for multitasking or for following guides. So much time saved.

How to make the most of it? Have you had a similar experience with something?

I use a lot of programming and sef hosting things at home. I have to enter passwords and write basic text files which have to be accurately read by all devices.

I, for the life of me, could not manage to solve a problem about a password. I tried many forums and what not and eventually a person on one of the forum said that my syntax is incorrect. I was so confused because I have done the exact same thing hundreds of times and it never caused an issue.

What I wanted to write was (quotes are a part of it) 'xyz'. This is what my PC writes. iOS decides that it should be ‘xyz’. There is a subtle difference in the quotes if you look carefully.

I wanted to trash by iPhone and buy an Android so bad at that moment.

Anyways that setting can be changed by turning off smart punctuation in keyboard settings. But the point is trashy defaults with no clear communication about it.

This whole post might be stupid and petty but it is pushing me to stop using everything Apple.
