They rage in favor of the machine Rage Against the Machine rages against

Oh thank god. I thought you were going to say "released Sk8er Boi" and I was about to have one of those moments where I feel extremely old. I've been having a lot of those lately...

In Montana, I believe, write-ins for president are always invalid

This might work as a scam, but I'm not sure it's the scheme referred to in the show. Dennis' lines about how they "always just took the difference from [Dee's] purse" also implies she's stealing from the bar.

I think the scheme might work more like this:

Two tables have a similar order

Dee gives one table their bill and they pay in cash

She pockets the cash (and the tip)

She delivers the same check to the second table

The second table pays and she puts that amount in the till (and keeps the tip)

This scheme would not work if the till has inventory tracking, but given the gang's poor understanding of technology and finances, such as Mac's "Irish honor system" being considered, and every character drinking beer from the bar's inventory without paying for it it, they clearly have no inventory tracking system

Whoops I thought that was Veronica. I guess it has been too long since I played

Right? Also, isn't she gay? I love Veronica too, but I don't think she'd want to have my babies

They did have Rush Limbaugh crowing about smoking bans, but the lung cancer that eventually killed him makes it harder to take his advice

One of our two parties wins more when more people vote.

Therefore, the other party must oppose voting by the largest groups, such as young people and people who live in cities.

The less popular party also has disproportionate control of government policy.

Which is to say, they oppose democracy itself. It is only a question of degree

For YouTube content I really like the Tubular app on Android. It has Sponsorblock built-in, which you mentioned, but it also has an option to skip silence.

I find it particularly nice for gaming content, or any point where the YouTuber is reading text aloud.

I must have skipped hundreds of hours of pointless silence by this point

I saw a comic about this once (xkcd, probably?) and going by the scene in the movie, where Legolas has human sized eyes, they deduced that Middle Earth must have an exotic atmosphere

Mainly because if your ears get hot any sweat can cause the earbuds to fall out. They at least don't fall on the floor (just into the headphone can) but it's not as nice as having regular wireless headphones.

Pro-tip: if you plan to use them for more that about 3 hours at a time, get a second pair of earbuds. That way when the first one's battery dies you can just swap them out while it recharges

If you don't want to spend a lot of money and are willing to put up with jank you can do what I do: get a pair of hearing protection headphones from the hardware store.

Just regular noise isolating cans for like mowing lawns or shooting guns. You can find a decent pair for less than $35. Look for a high NRR value (Noise Reduction Rating).

Then just wear earbuds underneath them. I use Samsung Galaxy Buds, but any wireless earbuds will do.

It's a bit janky but it didn't cost me $200
